can williams really make 147?

Well he was at 152 at the Cintron weigh in, I believe he can lose 5 more pounds healthy but he himself said he needs longer time to make 147.

He shouldnt try to. I feel he would be drained at 147 by this point. Theres really nothing for him at 147 anyway. Floyd, and Manny are never gonna fight him, he just needs to realize that. I dont think we'll see him at welter anymore. He'll fight in the 154-160 range from now on, and thats where he's more natural at anyway.

 

I'll be honest, I don't think Paul can beat Mayweather or Pacquiao at 147, at 154 and 160 yes, he has a chance.

I don't think there's much doubt he can make it; it's whether he can make it while still boxing to the best of his ability that's the tricky bit. I suspect he can make it and still be pretty good, but making it in absolutely top form? I'm not convinced.

He'd still give Pac fits at that weight, though. Floyd, hmmm; don't know.

 

why would manny or floyd fight the 'Punisher', is nothing in it for them! it annoys me when he moans about people 'ducking' him, the guy is huge even for a lmw so move up and fight guys your own size! dont think any supermiddle weight would duck him.

I do believe he can make 147 healthily, I have no reason to believe he can not, especially since he walks around lighter than Berto, Cotto, and Clottey.

I noticed he actually started off in his first fights weighing in the MW range. He doesn't seem like a true welterweight to me. Williams should pick on people his own size.

Doesn't matter if he started out at MW, Berto was an olympian at 160 fighting the likes of Dirrell and Ward, but you aren't crying about him. Lets not forget your boy Alvarez fighting at JR. MW already, while he is supposed to be the future of 147.
