    He could...

But the day before Tyson fought Douglas.. everyone were certain that he would not be beaten for the next 10 years.

    No.

He needs 10 or 11 more. I see him retiring or being freakishly KO'd before that ever happens.

No, I don't count his early defences since he wasn't #1 then. But he can equal or even pass Larry Holmes if he keeps fighting 3 times a year, which is still fantastic.

Chef, do you think these younger fighters such as Perez, Boystov and Price etc need to mix it up with each other to gain more experience before stepping in with a Klitschko. I think these young guys really suffer due to overprotective promoters not willing to risk them and challenge them before being thrown into the deep end. I think a lot of the guys in the division are 3 or 4 years off of really being competitive and its a real shame that. Every guy in the division is either ageing and on their way out or not even ready yet. One of the only guys who can be considered prime is Povetkin and he seems pretty reluctant to step forward. Is it not a pretty awkward situation for both brothers that the division is so barren of fighters ready to challenge them?

All this bitching about the level of competition. Let me ask you folks who are so hung up on it a question then. Is that their fault? Wlad or Vitali? Is it their fault that there isn't more suitable competition out there? Or that the people they've approached to fight have declined? And if they are only fighting "Bums" and "Tomato Cans" where are all these great fighters that they are supposed to face? They haven't ducked anyone, they haven't turned anyone away, and as we know people have turned THEM away because they are too good for the competition right now.

I can answer all those questions for you rather easily. The fact of the matter is that they are head and shoulders better than everyone else out there. THAT is their fault, they have strived to be the best, fought everyone there is to fight, beat everyone there was to fight, and continue to seek out the best they can get. Unless you just have some personal beef with them, you can't hold it against them that they are so much better than everyone else, and that they continue to be so dominant.

I think this dialogue from so called fans calling them disgraces to the sport is the REAL disgrace to boxing. Both guys have been fighting champions and if anything I'd say we are only fortunate to have two fighters in the heavyweight division as skilled as they are. Would you prefer that we have a division with a bunch of guys not nearly as skilled as them holding pieces of the title? Would prefer to have all these "Tomato Cans and Bums" holding the titles and being called champions? I think THAT would be a disgrace to boxing, not having these two exceptional athletes dominating the division.

I think what it comes down to is that people hate other peoples success. Whether it's boxing, football, basketball, baseball, or anything else, when you have people be dominant and successful you will always have a bunch of cry baby bitches and hateful people come out of the woodwork damning their success or trying to play it down and taint their victories. These people are pathetic and need to get something with themselves in check.

If you are such a foul person that other peoples success burns you that bad, I don't think there's any place for you to find solace because the negativity in you will not allow it. There's nothing wrong with people being successful and dominant at their given craft, and when we have the privilege of seeing it we should all only be so glad to witness it. We should be commending these people not condemning them for achieving greatness. However, jealousy, envy, bitterness, hatefulness, and idiocy will always exist thus meaning that people like the above described will as well. All that you can do is set them straight whether they accept it or not, and let them go on their hateful way.

Wlad is at 11 now right? He needs 15 more then to get to 26, thats like 7 more years. I think he got 4/5 years left, he is already almost 36, how long can he keep this up also with injuries? I feel if he is able to reach 20 in 2015-16 at age 39/40 he should make a run for it. Smartest way is to fight 3 times a year from now on while he is still. At the top and there are no threats on sight, he should try to be at 20 early 2015.

Yeah, he needs 15 consecutive victories to do it.

    No chance in hell.

There is no shame in it though, thats a solid record thats been standing for many decades, I would honestly find it very good given where he came from if he reaches 20, regardless how we might feel about his style its impressive to get that done and reign for 10 years imo, I think he will get to that point.

Louis was THE heavyweight Champion of the World.

Wlad is not, and neither is Vitali.

They would need to fight for a champion to be made.

    So, NO!

    :good

And if Wlad fights them they becomes tomato cans over night.

Wlad fought the best, he unifies the titles.

He will do if he wants too. Its a ****ing shame he hasn't had a career defining fight and he isn't going to get one either in this era.

Boring as **** but great at what he does. If he had an inside game he would be unstoppable.

yeah i imagine the brittards, the rednecks and the likes of Naysayer and The President who're to insignificant to give them a name, would die a thousand deaths if Wlad beats Joe Louis title defenses record.

Imagine the shitstorm that would take over ESB.
I reckon most of the brittards would just commit suicide, joining their fella FW on the land of Inbreed ******s.

I'll go with yes, Wlad can do another 10 successful title defences, if he defends 3 times a year like Steward said, rather than 1 or 2 times a year.

You've been picking every single opponent to beat him for the last half of a decade. :rofl  Give it up already, you already look foolish, no need to compound your ignorance.
