--- Do you think he can last until 2013? He would be 37 years old. Physically, I don't think there will be much difference. But, can he stay mentally focused for two more years?
Would be hard to pull of considering the absolute lack of worthy opponents. Povetkin will continue running and the up n comers will keep playing the same old "I am not ready" tune while he beats the fck out of whoever is desperate enough.
Some opponents tend to come out of the blue. You never know exactly how the field will look like in 2 years.
He can go another two years easy he is as strong as a bull. His mental focus seems to be one of his stronger attributes he is always in top shape.
Probably, it will be around that time that the big threats will be taking their shots at Wlad, ie Povetkin, Helenius, Possibly a fully recovered Solis as well. On paper that will be another tough run he will have to go through and will have to be mentally and physically at 100%. First will still have to get past Mormeck and the Thompson/Chambers winner so he has a lot of work lined up. On top of all that by then at least one of Fury, Pulev, Arreola, Perez, Boystov, Seth Mitchell, Ustinov, Dimitreko and Wach could have done something major to deserve a shot as well. There is quite a lot it seems that have reached the top and are about to make some serious moves over the next couple of years so a lot of action could be had. A lot against each other or title shots.
Physically he can but i wonder what his mental state will be. If he keeps having these easy fight he might get bored and underestimate someone who might actually be good.
He doesn't do drugs, he doesn't party, he doens't drink. He doesn't smoke. For all I can say he can probably fight another 3-4 years minimum. He will gradually decline but he's fighting close to 100% right now and even if he's going to 90 or 80% he'll still be too much for the current crop of contenders.
Probably. Maybe even up to 5, depends what coming up a few years from now. Currently there's no HW that I favour over Wlad within 2 years (with them getting better/more experienced, and Wlad just getting older), so weird outcomes aside he will be here for a while.
with the lack of real threats sure but if hes like Vitali his body may break down soon hell he does get injured more frequently now old age may set in sooner than we thought
4 or 5 more years, I think. He always keeps in shape and has a healthy lifestyle, plus he takes little damage in his fights. If big bro is any indication, Wlad will still be around for a while.
Wlad Klitschko will leave the sport after being brutally knocked out relatively early by well...someone. He will reign for now...
