    2 questions.

If Vitali pulls out can Wlad jump right in and fight adamek?

Would you guys be upset at this turn of events?

No opinions on a Wlad/Adamek fight? I think it is a better styles match than Adamek vs Vitali.

Absolutely! Adamek has said on at least 5 occasions he was prepping for either Klitschko, but expecting Vitali. He knew well in advance that Wlad was the fill in should the fight need to be postponed for ANY reason.

Wlad was NOT injured whatsoever by Haye, and ALWAYS stays in fighting shape. He knows his contractual obligations as well here, and Adamek can probably sue for his training costs, loss of time, and maybe up to half of his purse. It's been done before for reasons other than injury.

Didn't Adamek sign to fight "A Klitschko", not stating which one it was?

If Vitali does pull out and Wladimir step's in, what happen's with the WBC belt?

Yes, it's a huge problem because Adamek is training for Vitali, not for ,,the other Klitschko". He has 12 weeks training camp, do you really think there is no difference between them?

Klitschkos had to decide 90 days before the fight witch one is stepping into the ring. They both decided that Wlad takes Haye and Vitali takes Adamek. now it;s about 30 days to fight. It's way to late.

As best I can tell this is a voluntary defense for Vitali. It wasn't mandated in an eliminator as the Stiverne fight was.

The WBC belongs to Vitali until next march. If Vitali should postpone the Adamek fight, he will be stripped if he doesn't face Stiverne before next March.

It's 34 days, and IMO I take Adameks word for it. He's ready for either. Though I agree a decision needs to be made NOW. Wlad, Vitali, or face a huge lawsuit.

    Ahh i see.

Well i'm sure Adamek would be willing to take on Wladimir if Vitali was to step out, and he'd probably get a shot at Vitali wether he win's or loses with Wladimir

    I agree. It's a win/win for everyone involved.

Adamek could take Wlad next month. Vitali could take Stiverne next March. Then Adamek could get his fight with Vitali next Sept.

... and Wlad is training for Adamek right now?

I think that it's too late for Wlad to step in for Vitali. That isn't what the contract was about. The final decision on who it would be was to be made no later than 90 days out from the fight. That was for Adamek's security... to make sure that he had a Klitschko to fight. Now... it isn't as if Wlad can just step in and fight if Vitali pulls out for this or that reason... what if Vitali got hurt two days before the fight? Wlad is supposed to suit up and jump in? That's silly... he would need a training camp.

The only reason they had the contract like that earlier in the year... was just in case Wlad was injured against Chisora, or anything of that nature... that Adamek would have Vitali to fight. Ended up being that Wlad's fight with Haye happened... so Adamek got Vitali. It's not interchangable after they already set in place who is to fight Adamek.

    I prefer Adamek/Vitali over Wlad.

I'm sure Adamek's lawyers will disagree. He has spent probably close to 100K readying himself for this bout, not to mention the other opportunities he has lost by taking this fight, and delaying his career. If the fight isn't made with Vitali, then Wlad SHOULD step in.

Yeah... what does that matter? Fighters lose money on training camps for fights that fall through all of the time. That's part of the sport.

Adamek's lawyers can do whatever they want... but they sure as hell aren't going to have any ground to stand on. Fighters pulling out of fights isn't anything knew... and it won't be the last time either. Like I already said... the final decision was made 90 days out from the fight... after that point... the part of the contract with it being "either brother" is void. For obviously reasons... such as both fighter being able to complete a full training camp knowing who they are fighting, ticket sales, press conferences... and the fact that the other Klitschko brother certainly wouldn't be also going through a training camp preparing for a "what if".

This is a possible scenario. However we dont know about all the contracts clauses. Just like i posted in other thread, I wait for official statements from both teams.
