1 year after his last fight Can Xu the Chinese "monster" from Fuzhou living in Beijing, former WBA featherweight world champion 19 victories (4KO) for 4 defeats is back in the ring at 29 years old. He signed a victory by KO in the 5th rounds over the Indian Asad Asif Khan 15 victories (5KO) for 4 defeats (at the time of the fight) and 1 draw. No video on the fight, a return through the back door, but a nice Chinese article where we have some gifs. FYI Can Xu is currently ranked 36th in the world, and he is the 3rd Chinese world champion in history after Xiong Chaozhong (2012), then after Zou Shiming (2016). https://view.inews.qq.com/k/20240101A06PEO00?no-redirect=1&web_channel=wap&openApp=false This content is protected
He's fun to watch but I wish he had a different nickname. There's only one monster and it is certainly not him.
I hope he can back up to world level, he's always an entertaining watch, and in retrospect his loss to Leigh Wood is nothing to be ashamed of.
