    Thanks. I figured that's what it might mean but I wasn't watching the fight. Is that illegal in boxing? I don't see much difference between that and, say, pulling the guard down with the lead hand.

    No problem. Yeah it is. The ref even warned him for it once but he was also doing that sneaky little trick of extending the arm and then pretending to throw a two inch air jab with it to distract away from it what he was doing

    And he beat the 2nd ranked featherweight according to ESPN easily. Charles Martin beat Glazkov for the IBF belt and he isn't close to being the worst world titleist. Take your contrarian bias elsewhere
