Which is a very legit one. Indeed, Floyd Mayweather’s perfect record is an awesome record. However, to say it’s enough to make him the greatest fighter to have ever been born – like he, Floyd, claims he is – has to be preposterous, you gotta' admit. Because, it doesn't even make him the greatest fighter of his generation, let alone of all time.

 

like Pac's 8 weight champ thing, it's impressive on paper but somewhat diminished if you look at the circumstances.

In the end, the number of belts, weight classes, defeats (or lack of defeats) are all secondary (although valid) criteria compared to who you fight and how you beat them.

 

Very true. Where your opponents where when you fought them and your performance are what matters. Not everybody can jump weights like some boxers they should still get props.
