Can you at least admit Floyd's 0 isn't quite as awesome as he thinks?

This but he beat him in the rematch and so even if he has that one loss he still beat everyone he faced.

The people who hate on Floyd's zero are the same ones who will praise Marciano and Calzaghe for the same reason.

    It makes perfect sense.

The OP isnsits Manny is P4P 1 because Mayweather retired. I say that if he hadn't retired his body would have packed in on him, he'd have an L on his record and he'd have lost his spot anyway.
It's due to his retirement that he is ranked so highly today.

Neither was ever as good as Mayweather! Delusional revisionist history to claim otherwise.

Perhaps. Mayweather is not a spring chicken anymore, so I agree with you a bit on these breaks. Whether or not he ended with an L, well, we will never know for sure.

I think he is allowing his body time to properly recover. Fact is, if he messes up his hands again, his career is over.

His "0" is more impressive than Slappy Joe's or Ottke's, but his resume is subject to valid criticism.

At the end of the day, Floyd will be more remembered for the fights he wasn't in than for the fights he was in.
