I was listening to the beatles' "A little help from my friend." Now, you ruined it.

 

Floyd Mayweather Jr is one of the great fighters of my lifetime, and although I think his 0 has been aided by some careful match-making, I can't think of too many names he skipped over that I would have clearly favoured to beat him. We're talking fighters in or around his weight division. To consistantly beat your opponents over such a long period of time is impressive, even if said fighter isn't always fighting P4P rated opposition. Very few fighters in history have retired without a single blemish on their record.

I recognise Boxing as being perhaps the most difficult sport of all, and so I can't help but have respect for any man who steps into that squared circle.

I'm more of a Pac-Fan, but you gotta give credit where credit is due.
Floyds record is an amazing accomplishment, going through all those weight-classes, facing that elite level of opposition, and staying undefeated is as awesome as it gets.
Mayweather is a legend and will be remembered forever as one of the greatest artists this sport has ever seen.

 

What I don't understand is why he brings it up when asked about Pac.

Interviewer: Floyd will you fight Pac?
Floyd: He has been knocked out before. I haven't. I get no credit fighting him. (months later he fought a tree with a credit worthy sucker punch)
