    Sugar Ray Leonard came straight out and said that if it was Hopkins instead of Hagler who was sitting at 160, then he never would have moved up and fought him.

    Yeah... because we all know that Oscar was hurting for money... and that he couldn't make that kind of money unless he was fighting Hopkins.:lol:

    I am no oscar fan by any means, rooted against him in just about every fight, but the guy fought practically everyone. Fighters from today could take note. Much respect.

    Bernard Hopkins was Middleweight King when Oscar drained fought him.

    We know Miguel and antonio weren't ruling their divisions. antonio wasn't even established.

    Great fighters fight the very best talent around them in their primes and not wait 15 years until they get old to minimize the risk of losing their precious "0".
    DLH fought everyone in his prime, and in fact, fought many great fighters in their primes when he was clearly past prime. To be fair, he won his fair share and displayed the heart of a true champion.
    These new fighters like Bute, Kessler, Calzaghe, Khan are far inferior fighters relative to a true great boxer, the likes of Oscar DeLa Hoya or Bernard Hopkins.:yep:good
