Can you belive Khan is still getting abuse?

It's not to worry about, trust me.

This is what get's Khan publicity, this is what gave Khan the drive to win against Maidana.

His haters are a minority. He's earned massive respect.

 

I would greet anyone abusing Khan after that performance with complete distain.
I have to say I have never liked Khan, I think he is pretty stupid and talks a lot of bollocks but that was an outstanding performance...give the map the props he deserves ffs.

 

Hopefully he's won over the average British boxing fan...but there will always be a tiny minority who will hate him no matter what.

I was a Khan sceptic but he's won me over with that fight. Very exciting fight with plenty edge of the seat action - unlike the UFC junk on the same night. :yep

 

Anyone who dosent give Khan credit after the other night obviously has never put on a pair of boxing gloves in their life.

i cant understand that after a performance like that how anyone couldnt have been impressed. he boxed better than i and most people expected.

plus every negative khan topic always brings up his chin, yeah he was hurt late on but he never went down and took some big shots from a big puncher.

Objective criticism? Yep, and rightly so, it was hardly a flawless performance, but has shown us all we need to know about Khan now. ATG? Never. Bloody good and deserving of support? DAMN RIGHT :deal

 

khan showed a decent chin and alot of spirit and determination in that fight, however people need to realise that the fight was very close and khan looked hurt in that 10th round, i still believe khan has a chin fragility and a puncher like holt would stop khan if he connected (1 punch ko artist).

To be fair tho, khan shouldnt have to prove his chin in every single fight he has. Khan deserves to be public darling as oppoesed to Haye who gets credit for bowling over either crap or shot fighters.

On a tangent, how the **** does david haye get a spot in britains sport personality of the year over carl froch and even khan?

 

Because Carl Frochs fights are on TV channels that nobody watches?

 

and sadly he gets no exposure at all, u cant be the personality of the year, when nobody knows u.

Do you remember the article in the metro about him beating taylor, like 6 months after it had happened?

Hopefully with sky mentioning him all the time, we'll see his fights in the semi finals on there.

 

The sheer entertainment on display at the weekend has distorted reality for a lot of people. The truth is he had a real struggle with the guy most people would consider number 4 in division before fight.

No sane person could call him glass jawed anymore or question his desire to take on the best opposition. He clearly has the ability to at least compete at the highest level but there are people claiming he's proven that he is number 1 in division or that he's suddenly top 10 P4P. I find these sort of claims to be annoying it would be like Haye beating Adamek in a great fight and then claiming he is definately number 1 in division.

Some of the Khan hate is ridiculous though and even if you dont like him you should at least respect him after what he did against Maidana.
