Michalczewski was way over the hill by the time he fought Tiozzo and Gonzales. When he was almost shot he TKO'D Hall twice and stopped Harmon when he was very ill with the flu. Both those guys were Ring mag top 10 at the time if i remember correctly.

 

That 2nd Hall win was nothing short of incredible. He was busted up badly over both eyes in the first round!!! If it was Saad Muhammad in one of his great comefrom behind efforts folks would call it one of the best comebacks of all time.

 

He is way above either Huck and Arthur and has the wins to back that up.

 

The stoppage was very controversial.

 

Tiozzo was the same age. DM never fought a fighter as good as Tiozzo.

 

Your wrong, Michalczewski trounced Virgil Hill who beat Tiozzo twice, once by first round tko.

 

Both Hall fights were great, especially the 2nd one. Good thing they didn't stop it when Michalczewski's eye was closed.

 

No because Hill was not at his best, coming off an injury and long layoff. Tiozzo was at his best and ready.
