If you had to pick a modern fighter who is most similar to Greb as a fighter, who would it be? The way Tunney described Greb, Lomachenko comes to mind. Tunney said Greb would come in and out of range with really fast flurries before he knew what hit him. Also if you look at him shadow boxing, he kind of resembles that Lomachenko looseness and agility. This content is protected But obviously there are prominent aspects of Greb you don't see in Loma. What do you guys think?
Well, I'm going to guess Loma is more accurate, but otherwise I can see where similarities might exist. Ken Overlin was said to be the poor man's Greb, and a couple of his fight excerpts are on YouTube. Hopefully Klompton has more insight.
unorthodox like Joe Calzage but Greb started fighting all sizes young and hung in there against some very big men like Tunney but from what I heard Harry was a windmill and fast of hand and foot & smart....Calzage had that type of energy
Some of Aaron Pryors punches were thrown from odd angles and at his best he was pretty much non stop.
