Can you defend Lederman's scorecard of Lomachenko-Lopez?

I've never once denied that or claimed otherwise. I call it out when it happens over here. But what doesn't happen everywhere is a home ref and three home judges for world title fights. That only happens in one place and not only that it's commonplace over there.

Not sure I believe this. I'll be paying attention. Btw, where are you from, Serge? What is your nationality? Wherever it is I'll start looking for reasons to label it in decidedly unflattering fashion every chance I get.

You gave Loma the 12th round? Might be worth rewatching.

Please do pay attention so you can find out I'm right. I've been raising awareness about this ever seen I started noticing a pattern.

I hail from the tiny majestic isle of Great Britain and yes we have plenty of corruption over here too. But what we do not have is a home ref and three home judges working world title fights between a Brit and a foreigner.

Hell, even for non-world title fights over here between a Brit and a foreigner we often have one, two or even three neutral judges or one home judge, one from the away fighter's country, and one neutral

    I'll give you an example

Kiko Martinez is one of the sport's premier road warriors and he's fought all over the world, including in Britain many times, and in the US a number of times too

His first fight in the UK was a European title fight against England's Rendall Munroe

All the officials came from neutral countries

The rematch which was also over here

All the officials came from neutral countries

Fought Takalani Ndlovu in South Africa for a world title

Ref neutral, 2 judges from South Africa, 1 from Spain (Ndlovu is South African, Kiko is Spanish)

Fought Hozumi Hasegawa in Japan for a world title

Ref and all 3 judges from neutral countries

He then fought Carl Frampton in the UK for the European title

All the officials came from neutral countries

Two fights later he fought for in the US for a world title against a Colombian

All the officials came from the US. But seeing how neither fighter was American I'm fine with that

He fought Frampton again in the UK, this time with a world title on the line

British ref and judge, two neutral judges

Then he fought Quigg over here, again with a world title fight on the line

British ref and judge, two neutral judges

    Fought LSC in the US

US ref and 2 US judges, 1 neutral

Fought Josh Warrington in the UK for the WBC International FW title so not even a world title fight

    UK ref, 3 neutral judges

Fought GRJ in the US for a world title

Ref and all 3 judges from the US

Fought Zelfa Barrett in the UK no titles on the line

Ref and all 3 judges from the UK but this was during Covid so maybe that was because of that or just maybe because it wasn't a title fight

Fought Kid Galahad in the UK for a world title

UK ref and 1 judge, 2 neutral judges

Fought rematch against Warrington in the UK for a world title

Ref and 1 judge from the UK, 2 neutral judges

Fought Jordan Gill in the UK for the European title

Ref and all 3 judges neutral

    Another example

Loma fought Teofimo in the US for undisputed

Ref and all 3 judges from the US

Kambosos fought Teofimo in the US for undisputed (albeit some dispute that)

Ref and all 3 judges from the US

But when Haney fought Kambosos in Australia x 2 for undisputed

Ref and all 3 judges in both fights came from neutral countries and many of the Haney fans on social media complained about how unfair it would be if the officials were from Australia

When Loma fought GRJ in the US for a world title

Ref and all 3 judges from the US

When Josh Taylor fought JCR in the US for undisputed

Ref and all 3 judges from the US

When Castano fought Jermello in the US for undisputed

Ref neutral for first fight (which is extremely rare in the US), all 3 judges from the US

The after Castano got robbed he traveled back over there again for the rematch. Surely after getting robbed neutral judges would be appointed, right?

Ref and all 3 judges from the US

Kovalev fights Ward in the US for three world titles

Ref and all 3 judges from the US

The after getting robbed of all his world titles they have a rematch

Surely after getting robbed neutral judges would be appointed, right?

Ref and all 3 judges from the US. Ward refused to allow any neutral judges to work the fight after Team Kovalev who just wanted a fair shake this time petitioned for it

But when Kovalev defended his world title (s) in Russia against Chilemba and Yarde surely the officials would've been from Russia, right?

Refs and all 3 judges for both fights from neutral countries

I could keep going on and on

I've never seen a single instance of a non US fighter having a home ref and 3 home judges for a world title fight in their home country against a foreigner since I've started paying attention to this. Maybe it's happened but if so it's extremely rare, whereas, conversely, a US fighter having a home ref and 3 home judges for a world title fight against a foreigner in the US is very common. They even have them for undisputed fights like Loma and Kambosos vs Teofimo, Josh Taylor vs JCR, and Jermelo vs Castano x 2 sans 1 neutral ref in the first fight

Outside of some good-natured ribbing and forum banter, I have nothing against Americans. I like them and I have many American friends on here. However, I simply do not think this is fair and of course I'm 100% right. Personally I think all the officials should come from neutral countries for world title fights.

Definitely a million low blows, but ai hate to say it, seems like most just hit Loma's thigh and didn't affect him. Saludos body blows were pure pitterpatter though.

    Lopez won the 12th round.

However, as I pointed out earlier, it was scarcely this three minute hiding as some have claimed. Lomachenko actually landed one of his best punches of the night at the close of the round and had backed Lopez up/into the ropes.

I think a case can also made that Lomachenko won the 2d round.

They were hard thumps, Loma just got titanium testicles. A punch from a toddler to the testicles is plenty hard enough to score a TKO (Testicle Knockout)
