Can you give examples of a real life "fantasy match up"?

I'm not referring to just 2 big time fighters facing each other.

    I'm thinking..

*Both fighters at their absolute physical prime, at the peak of their skillsets and in their optimal weight class.

*Zero distractions and injuries before and during training camp.

    *Perfect officiating.

    *Perfect judging.

    *Perfect tactics by the cornermen.

*No injuries that could affect the outcome (headbutts, cuts, etc) during
    the fight.

*(Or at least perfect performance by the cutmen)

    *No weight draining excuses

Just a pure, clean, clinical and a perfect boxing night.

No outside interference that could have affected the outcome of the fight, even if only barely.

    Any examples?

This is reason why I'm surprised with all the hate and the insults being hurled at posters that pick the obvious underdog in an ESB fantasy match up.

The moment someone picks the decided long shot and tells everybody why he picked the other guy and tells them how he could possibly win, he will be laughed at and he will be belittled like he's some ******.

There are a lot of variables and outside stuff that affects all fights, and a perfect fantasy match up happening in real life is so hard to pull off.

How infuriating that we should be talking about Mayweather-Pacquiao in exactly this regard by now.

But that was way before the internet and the idiot fans that came with it, i bet that if a fight similar to that happened now someone would find something to ***** about.

I appreciate the point you're making Bulakenyo, but when underdog's are favored in fantasy match-ups it's never because of a headbutt, bad officiating, or poor judges, it's usually because of ridiculous reasoning. Such as, "Pacquiao would be too fast for Duran". Well, sir, that's just simply not good enough when we consider who Duran got the better of at 147lbs. I certainly understand people's frustration when I have to read such absurdity.

I am surprised no one said Leonard - Hearns I yet?

There wasnt any controversy or anything and was this before Leonards eye problems and all that right? They were both young and prime right? The only rumor I ever heard was Hearns running 5 miles or whatever it was before the day of the fight and over training. I think they did both come in at like 145 and 146 on the weigh in but that is hearns own fault if it is true.
