Fenech is an A.T favorite of mine who had the best motor I ever saw. If his hands weren't so brittle man o man! Rocky had a very unique stance that I really liked. Very good fighter who was a pleasure to watch.
I think of Lockridge as an ultra-competitive guy. Other than a surprise mid-career stoppage loss to Juan LaPorte in 2 rounds (or two ill-advised comeback losses after 3 years away from the game), you really couldn’t put him in over his head. Pedroza, JC Chavez, Wilfredo Gomez, even Tony Lopez when Rocky was post-prime had to really work to beat him. And he bested the likes of Boza-Edwards and Roger Mayweather (in ONE!!) and some other good fighters. He was well above gate-keeper level in my mind but just a tad short of being able to get over the best, but they knew they’d been in with a warrior.
Lockridge - Tough, real skilled and very underrated. Awesome guy, and a funny meme as well lol. Cruz - No comment. Fenech - A little human bull. Super strong and fit, and also underratedly skilled too. Very fiery. Watch the Nelson bout. Pancho Villa - The Phillipines first legend. Tough, fiery and super active. First user of the cross armed guard I've seen on film. Watch the Wilde bout. Fighting Harada - Thrashing tsunami of Japan, their greatest and best fighter. Legendary skills and aggression, alongside legendary bouts and opponents. A true God of War in his prime.
Lockridge Fenech and Harada have a bunch of footage available. All in tons of action packed fights. All 3 bring it intensely all fight. Lockridge is not a swarmer where Fenech and Harada are. Check em out
