    Straight after that Marquez walks to the wrong corner and Bayless had to direct him to his corner. Marquez was probably dazed.

    Ref's interpretation and call.

    I've seen a lot worse than that not called.

    It helped Juan's case because emmanuel eagerly continued to punch. Part of the ref's job is to ensure that it's a GOOD clean fight. Many things, including dirty moves, are overlooked if the momentum of action is still flowing. The ref tends to look for a pause to interject himself.

    Your legs are failing you, but you still got arms to try and keep you standing.

    Yup, if the ref doesn't feel the ropes are holding you up then that's the way it is.

    If a fighter stays up because of the ropes, it's supposed to be scored a KD. However, it has to be super blatant for a ref to actually call it.
