Round 1: The bell rings, both fighters are pumped and want to make a statement right away. Whoops, with all this excitement, there's a head clash... but it's no big deal, no one is cut. Nonetheless, Pac tries to give Floyd a little hug, Mayweather sees an opening and puts all his weight into a right hand that lands flush on Pac's chin. First punch landed in the fight & it's over. Spectators in the MGM Grand stand in disbelief as they were told this was the "biggest fight of all time" and that ten thousand bucks for a seat was nothing to witness this great event. & what about the millions at home that paid a hundred dollars... :nut
1. Pac won't give Floyd a little hug 2. Pacquiao would get up after taking a flush Floyd left right combo. /close thread
It would actually be hilarious but yeah, riots on the streets of Manilla. Most everyone in the arena is likely to be a celebrity or rich enough to just want to be 'seen' at the event with little interest in boxing as a sport.
I'm talking about inside the MGM Grand as well as all the closed circuit spots. The guy who paid 50K for ringside seats is gonna jump into the ring and blast Floyd out w/ brass knuckles.
This would be hilarious to me, but the outrage very well could impact boxing as a whole. The Mayweather/Ortiz fight was pretty outrageous, but if he did that to Pacquiao while the entire world was watching? JEsus christ.
Floyd would be hated by absolutely everyone, including his own fans. That would rob everyone of a definitive ending.
If Pacquiao is stupid enough to leave himself open to two free shots in the middle of the round, then that's his fault. This is boxing people, you are allowed to hit people in the face during a round. Fighters should know by now that Floyd knows the rules pretty well and will clock you if you're not ready. No one, I mean no one, would feel sorry for Floyd if Pacquiao two pieced him when he wasn't ready.
I'm telling you, anyone else other than Ortiz's wussies in the corner, would have started a riot, trying to attack floyd for those straight up sucker punches. that was brutal and one of the worst I''ve seen in boxing. And even with them being legal, it was the fact Floyd knew the guy was defenseless and was feeling bad for the headbutt and exploited him in a very cowardly manner. I remember the crowd errupting in boo's, floyd had robbed everyone included those watching on PPV. And I remember 50 cent standing in his corner looking like "oh ****, wtf did you just do Floyd" and I think he was waiting for retaliation from someone but amazingly nothing happened. And if this sort of thing happened with Pac, not that pac is dumb enough to let floyd sucker punch him in that kind of situation, but man pac's team and fans would unleash all hell on that place. I don't think Floyd would escape without getting severely busted up along with his 300lb security guards.
