Can you imagine if Ward didn't DOMINATE Froch?

I thought it was a close fight between Ward and Froch, cant see how someone thinks Ward dominated. Or that people think it was a great win when Froch was coming off a Mdec over old boiled down G Johnson.

Ward did not put a clinic on against Froch at all.
Ward looked more composed than Froch, which gives a better impression of control, but try watching the fight without any commentary or sound, and you can see why the judges watched a close fight.
Ward was leaning and holding which isnt a clinic, like many would like to dream it was. Ward definately didnt close the show.

A close win to Ward but not a clinic,

A SMW clinic was Jones/Toney, Calzaghe/Lacy, Kessler/Andrade, etc

Ward seemed to be struggling at the end, as he did against Bika and Froch is an old SMW.

Watched again and came up with 115/113 Ward, cant remember which bits I changed my mind over without looking through post history

I didnt see a domination and if you look at Ward at the end he looked like he had been in a fight

 

It was clear clear win that no one in the world scored for Froch.
On the other note how is the best and the most avoided LHW in the world CLeverly after being totally destroyed :roflatsch

Are you daft when you are just showing a small part, rounds 8-10 and calling that a schooling for the whole fight showing 3 rounds?
Do you really think round 9 was a schooling? I felt Froch won round 9, remove the sound and note Wards leaning and doing little, I think Froch won round 9. Thats not a schooling.

if you don't learn to put your allegiances aside because some fighters were born on the same pile of dirt that you were, how do you ever expect to be objective?

 

Hypothetically if the Ward/Froch fight had been a lot closer then Froch-haters would instead point to Taylor's dominanting performance against him before gassing or what was arguably the robbery against Dirrell to run down Froch and his achievement.

However, Froch has earned the right to be condsidered one of the best in the world and the second best fighter in his division and he has a resume that demands respect, so, frankly, I fail to see why this thread exists except to take thinly veiled swipe and Froch and his fans.
