Sure, the first Ruiz fight is always going to be on ones mind when thinking of Joshua exchanging, but apart from that he has looked deadly when doing that. Not saying Holy would lose if he let it turn into a brawl early like he did against Bowe, but he'd be better off boxing with the occasional brawling. As in the Bowe rematch. That was a very well executed gameplan from Holy.

which is the brawl fight is Holyfield loss?
only Bowe. in 1 fight & fight 3.

no AJ has not this same toughness. we seen his best is only the Wladimir Klitschko & fortunate 41 years man is off heap of rust & not the pace to finish younger man. top win for AJ & great battle. but compares to young Bowe enduring like Holyfield can? no.

Maybe. Let's see what Joshua's career has brought us when it's finished. Defeats are in clear memory when a fighter still is active or has recently retired, but fade with time. Lewis's defeats to McCall and Rahman are not seen as damning now as just 10 years ago, and Holy losing his title to a LHW and being hurt and knocked down (the ref rules it as such, from memory) against unranked second substitute Bert Cooper isn't held against him much at all.

Right now everyone with a pulse is apparently going to KO Joshua because walrus Ruiz did, but that might fade in time as well.

he can beat Usyk first next month & yes then it might become time for him to prove greatness.

[Usyk not better than Holyfield but can might be seen as on similar class level yes)

Cooper blew hot and cold. If he was on, he was going be a tough night's work for a good many Heavyweights.

I watched Mercer/Cooper not that long back.

    It was brutal.

That was a busy time for Bert over those years.
    Holyfield
    Foreman
    Mercer

He did yeah my family always recommending me the classics, I remember he told me it was made by the same people who made Minder, and since I loved that show. I had to give Prospects a watch and I loved it, it's actually funny seeing how much The Isle Of Dogs has changed aswell.
