Guess work here for me as i've never done more than a top 10 and i wasn't really happy with that but no i don't think he'd make my top 50, i wouldn't destroy someone for having him there but i reckon i'd have him a little lower.
I dont know why I keep replying to these list threads...they do my head in. But the answer for me is a resounding no...Ive seen credible lists thats have Erik outside the 100. Personally I think I have him 80-90. So top 50 cannot be argued IMO.
Ok i maybe i exagerrated on top 50 but ill stick with 60. I have Tyson around 50 and id put Morales a little behind him.
I personally don't feel it myself, just thought I'd ask everyone elses opinion to make sure watching fights on youtube hadn't altered my perception of reality
who the **** do you think you're talking to kid? I've been watching boxing since you were a thought in your Daddys testes, say that **** again and I'll :gunyoubbbatsch
Ive never tried anything more than a top 10 but Im guessing its a debateable thing placing Morales in a top 50 & if its debateable then it can probably be justified. Im certainly not gonna complain if he makes someones top 50, he`s my fav fighter & I always felt he gets underrated as in a skilled sense because of the nature of most of his fights.... he was a regular top 10 p4per all the way thru his entire prime + even a little past his prime, at his best he was in contention for the no1 spot on lots of lists, he fought everyone worth fighting thru 3 weight classes & reached ATG status in his best class, the 122 lb division. The guy was a brilliant fighter & has a very good record/resume so its certainly not ridiculous to put him in a top 50. Thats my view.
I'd say that 122 is not that stacked historically, and that boxing has regressed in depth over the last few years. it's what you like though pal
