Can You Justify Placing Morales In A Top 50?

In other words - top 35 NOW because you cant change the past because of a few past prime losses.

Robinson, Ali, Duran, Leonard, Louis, Armstrong, all these greats lost in ways they never did or would have in their prime, it never hurt their top 10 or 15 ranking so it shouldnt hurt Morales ranking either.

 

To be known as a top 2 or 3 fighter in any division takes a special fighter & Erik Morales was certainly that.

 

Around 70-90 I would think. No, I do not believe a top 50 place can be justified at all, even though he is a fighter I like and admire in many ways.

 

Simply too many great fighters to get him in a top fifty. Lower half though without doubt.

Honestly that's as deep as my thought process goes when it comes to Morales. I'd squeeze him into the top 10 if I thought I could get away with it.
