Sadd Muhammad vs Yaqui Lopez. Both fighters began to slip after that one. Fighters just can't take those kind of beatings forever.

    Marquez vs Vasquez.

Both entered in their absolute prime but left the fight basically shot.

Marquez should have smashed Lopez and Vasquez should have retired.

Great call. Even if someone argued Tyson was as good against Ruddock as he had been against Douglas due to where he had found himself at in Japan one can still say the aura of invincibility was gone, certainly on opponents with any gonads at all.

I always feel the most tragic fights are when a promising career is side tracked and another
ends up with permanent reminders of a brutal fight. In this case their is no winners only
sadness. Mike Perez vs Magomed Abdusalamov ended with MA going into a induced coma
from brain hemorrhage and suffered brain trauma. Perez was thought to be a next hw contender
became punch shy and was never the same.

Carbajal - Gonzalez I. Chiquita changed his style to be more cute after that as opposed to the 'bombs away and never mind the torpedoes' approach that had always served him well.

Although he won the fight, and it made him Ring fighter of the Year, Carbajal started to lose after this. He didn't alter his style but was never able to recreate that level of intensity again, whether he had left something behind physically or mentally.
