Just today i have seen on some threads Mayweather nuthuggers, Calzaghe nuthuggers, Pacquiao nuthuggers, Haye nuthuggers, Margarito nuthuggers, Williams nuthuggers and many more.

So don't praise any boxer because some idiot who would be knocked out by all of those boxers will call you a nuthugger.

This is ESB, Brother. B4 you plan to praise a boxer, flip a coin for the likelihood you'll be ridiculed for your words of praise.:yep

Just don't make threads about how good he is everyday and how much you like his wife like all the idiots here do.Being a fan is one thing,a nuthugger is another.

usually if you are just moderately praising a fighter and a guy steps out and calls you a nuthugger, then that guy is a massive hater.

thats just the way it is.

I think you are a nuthugger when you stop thinking. Like:

Oh, this involves my favorite fighter? Then he'll win by BRUTAL ko.

It is also my theory that the expression "brutal ko" is often linked with nuthugging.

    Very much so.........

Example: Tito is my favorite fighter of the past 15 years of so and I'm very biased when it comes to my love of his fighting style and his desire to please his fan base.....

I praise him, but I'm NO nuthugger.......For instance if you ask an opinion on Tito-Hopkins possibly fighting again, a NUTHUGGER would probably say Tito'll kill him, 9/11 affected him and so forth........

If I saw Tito face to face, I would tell him to stay AS FAR AWAY from Bernard Hopkins as possible, as a matter of fact, don't even think about fighting him EVER again, because you're NOT beating him..:yep

The Mayweather Nuthuggerz are the most frustrating because not only is the guy 39 and a goose egg, but there dosen't look to be anyone that can PROBABLY beat him at this point. now before I get slammed for this keep in mind I'm no Money fan and there's quite the difference between POSSIBLE and PROBABLE. LOL.

just praise him with objective facts. that way you lessen the chance to be called nuthugger.

RapidDan is the epitome of a nuthugger. His one and only agenaa is Manny Pacquiao, he isn't interested in anything or anybody else involving the Sport of Boxing. He thinks Pacquiao beats everybody, he spends most of the time as a promoter, trying to convince everybody at ESB that Pac will win by knockout this weekend.

If you're objective and love the sport, as opposed to one or certain fighters, you can't be labled a nuthugger.

    I agree!!!

Its hard to hide the fact that one is hugging the nuts and doing something
    else with the gurgling sound.

There is nothing wrong with praising a fighter. I'd say nuthugging usually takes on other forms I'll list some.

Making more out of certain accomplishments than there is - Like for example Hatton fans that act like the win over Castillo actually meant something

Applying double standards - Like Margarito fans that criticise floyd's ducking of margarito but are all quiet about Margarito currently ducking williams

refusing to acknowledge weaknesses or defects - Like Toney fans that just brush off the 2 steroid offenses

Taking it personal and getting personally offended when someone criticises your guy - Hopkins and Toney fans seem to fall into this a lot

Hating a guy just because he beat your guy or just somehow hurts his legacy - Like Floyd fans that hate Margarito
