Khan is too predictable for Floyd. He's really good at what he does, but Floyd would no doubt figure it out and leave him with nothing. Jab, flurry, circle, jab, combination followed by body shots, circle. He lunges way too much, doesn't vary his punch speed (it's nearly always "throw them all in succession" with the same rhythm), and while has good defensive lateral movement, isn't too creative in creating angles from which to throw surprising punches. On top of all that, his respectable power isn't good enough to hurt Mayweather badly with just one punch, and he's not going to land much more than that.

Let me put like this Khan is only going to improve and Floyd is only going to decline.

More time this fight takes to get made the more chance Khan will have.

Floyd is older than Zab, Khan's speed will even make Floyd look his age.

khan was reckless in the judah fight, u can't fight like that against floyd.

khan should improve in each fight. right now khan aint ready.

if they fight in late 2012 or early 2013, imo khan should be ready.

i can but mayweather will be just out of range most times. khan has a certain predictability which floyd will exploit.

Anything is possible on boxing, even this, but not right now. Khan would be beaten up.

Yeah, his defense inside and when he's not on the move is crap. His legs are the things that get him out of trouble. Khan's really not a very skilled fighter, at least not compared to better 140 pounders of past eras. His combinations are basic at best and not very imaginative. His technique is poor and he still lunges . His best assets are his footspeed, handspeed, and size...and those three things will get him far against this current mediocre group of 140 pounders, and probably even against most welterweights out there. Definitely not against Floyd or Manny though. No shame in that obviously.

people these days only have to see speed and flashy combinations these days to label a fighter "skilled" even though a fighter can be just as skilled if he were a come forward pressure fighter. I see no amazing skills in khan hes a fantastic athlete a decent boxer. Mayweather is a great athlete and a great boxer

Nobody was questioning Zab's testicular fortitude before his fight with Floyd, his Boxing IQ was. Credit Floyd for exposing that piece of evidence for Zab's future opponents. Compare it to the way Margarito's cheating ass exposed Cintron's testicular fortitude. Only difference is Cintron didn't resort to blatant foul shots to keep from being knocked the **** out.
