Can you think of a heavyweight better than Luis Ortiz who never won a title?

Not sure what you are saying ,Golota losing to Lewis doesn’t exactly show he loses to the same guy you call to small ? Golota in his right mind only lost to Bowe on default other then Lewis , Norton couldn’t do much with a guy like that on those nights ,there’s no evidence how he fares against another Foreman like Hulk of 6”4 and 240 to add , I believe Norton would not stand up to a true heavyweight punch if that guy is sizeable the proof is the Cooney and Foreman fights.

So, five days and seven pages later, am I really going to be the first person to mention Ortiz won one of the WBA heavyweight belts on two separate occasions, and even successfully defended it against Bryant Jennings?

Not so much. Not unless they were all 6'9" 270 pound switch-hitting boxer-punchers.

Oh yeah, his "interim" title? He wasn't even the full WBA champ, you're going to try count that?

I don't count interim belts. And I don't think anyone is a FULL WBA champ if there are two other beltholders in the same division with the same org. The WBA is a nightmare.

But the question is about winning belts. Ortiz actually won a WBA strap and defended it against Jennings. So, technically, he won a belt. Or two.

This. Not to mention their deaths were very strange.

No... I believe it was about winning the actual HW Championship. Not just some belt. Having just a belt just makes you a top contender to the recognized World champ.
