Can you think of a time a guy got KD'd, got up, and immediately KO'd his opponent?

My friend and I were discussing this today and could not between the two of us think of an instance where a guy has been knocked down, got up, and immediately KO'd his opponent.

Can you help us out with this?

There is probably a really obvious example of this and we are just being a couple of ******s.

    Jack Johnson-Stanley Ketchel

Michael Watson got stopped the next round, but he had basically already lost the fight after he got dropped by Chris Eubank in the rematch. He barely had a clue where he was.

Calzaghe tko'd Mitchell, if that counts, as a tko isn't really a ko.

Coralles Castillo fits the description. Coralles down twice in the 10th gets up to KO Castillo. If by immediate you mean 1 second and if by KO you mean KTFO then it's not a perfect fit.

The Johnson/Ketchell shout was the best example. Johnson was knocked down in an era where you had no standing 8 count, and as soon as you arose the fight resumed. The second he got up Ketchell came charging at him and Johnson caught him with a straight right from hell that ended the fight and took a few of Ketchell's teeth with him. You can actually see Johnson picking the teeth out of his glove afterwards.

    I can't believe I didn't think of Holt-Torres II!! If ever proof was needed, I am indeed a ******.

Though that one is tainted for me because of the huge part the (admittedly unintentional) headbutt played in leading to the KO.

Our discussion was specifically about KOs though, so Corrales-Castillo doesn't fit exactly, though obviously Castillo was pretty much out after the stoppage.

We were trying to think of an example where a guy has been properly knocked down, got up, and then immediately (more or less) punched the guy down and out.

I haven't seen Foreman-Lyle, will check it out mate cheers.

johnson vs ketchel was instantly. johnson basically does a leaping flying punch off the canvas to ko ketchel. back when there was no nutral corners and ketchel was just standing over him waiting to chop him back down.

Here's one where the KO was not "immediate," but the challenger was handing the champ his ass, and bang, fight over!

I think it was the same round when Rocky Graziano dropped Ray Robinson with a looping right hand to the neck (it was kind of a pull-down, but it was counted as a KD anyway) and then Ray got up and knocked out both Graziano and his mouthpiece.
