Can you think of a time a guy got KD'd, got up, and immediately KO'd his opponent?

Didn't Nigel Benn do that against Anthony Logan, get knocked down hard, got up and in the next exchange stopped the Jamaican.

Ketchel v Johnson was the one that immediately sprung to mind..

Eubank vs Benn I, though Eubank really slipped rather than KD'd

Corrales-Castillo is nice. Holt-Torres too, but there was that headbutt. Calzaghe-Mitchell was the first I could think of. Hamed-Kelly as well. Codrington almost pulled it off vs. Bika in the great The Contender final.

    Oh yeah, oh yeah! Powell-Bundrage!

Perfect fit, and even better: first power punch by both produces a double-knockdown, the second one by Powell finishes the fight. Classic.

Your gonna love this PACFAN84, but Calzaghe got up from a knockdown by Byron Mitchell and then ko'd him. All in the same round. One of the most exiting rounds of boxing ever. It was like something straight out of a hollywood film. ****in blew him away. Total class.

As soon as i saw this thread i immediately thought of the best example ever, Johnson-Ketchell, Sweet Pea outlines on page 1 why it is the best example, im sure everyone's seen it though

You're going to love this: I've seen the Byron Mitchell fight a few times and am well aware of it thanks. I think you need to revise what you think a KO is. This thread was specifically about KOs, not TKOs. We were talking about someone who gets put down, gets up, and KOs his opponent almost immediately. Read through the thread, that is what we were talking about specifically, and although Calzaghe's stoppage of Mitchell is brilliant, it doesn't fit the criteria for this particular thread.

Calzaghe's stoppage of Mitchell was scintillating stuff though. Quality.

    Eubank-Watson II

Although Watson technically made it to the end of the round his career was already over, he just didnt know it.
