I have a feeling my tentative plan for going to see Bute-Froch over in the UK will abort for lack of a good ticket, or simply for a lack of money.


How about a group watch of Bute-Froch at a Cage aux Sports over in Gatineau-Hull?

Pre-drinks at hotel in the middle of the afternoon, take a cab to get there, have a big, well positioned table for all of us... what do you guys say?

Mainly targeting QC & ON peeps on here. I'm in Barrie, it's a 5-6 hour drive for me. Could carpool i.e. pick up 1 or 2 of you in T.O. if there's any interest. Obviously it's an easier drive for the guys who live in QC.

Seriously,though,I have resided in the Toronto area for almost 7 years now,transferred from my New York City headquarters and I love Canada and the lifestyle.I hope to be here for another couple of years but I shall eventually move back to New York City where I grew up.
My impression is that there is very little boxing in Canada with the exception of Montreal/Quebec.Some smaller calibre shows are held in the Casino's out west but by and large boxing is only big in Quebec.Bute's PPV buy rates are virtually nothing except in the Province of Quebec,due primarily to his lack of presence even in the Toronto papers.Not knocking it,just telling the way it really is.He is a big fish in a small pond and good for him the Quebecers support him,but he could have been so much more in Canada,in my opinion.
