Canadian fans' reaction to the result of BUTE-ANDRADE...

A few months in Montreal and a year in Edmonton.

Well I must admit that all my time there was in Ontario and British Columbia and "most" there seemed like very good people but I know of quite a few instances of rage against Americans especially around the Washington border.

 

Sounds like a bad experience for you. I'm sure there are bad apples in every bunch. I didn't meet anyone in Montreal who gave me a hard time (except one guy who was speaking all french and then got pissed when I gave him this "WTF dude cut me some slack here" look) and in Edmonton I didn't see that many people...in general

 

Yeah and there are whole towns there where everybody wears turbans-if you know what I mean

Huh you dont have any idea. While I was there the locals where warning my wife and I about campers (mostly elderly) being pulled out of their tents and beaten. Then lo and behold we went to a park in Osoyo where park attendance didnt like how fast I climbed the climbing wall or I dont know what there act was but they were saying racist crap (My wife is Latina). I promtly chased them through their own park then I sued them and won because my wife got their slurs on video

 

Couldn't agree more.

 

Any clue how old they were? I mostly hung out with people around my age which made things a little easier to cope with.

 

I'd say around 22

 

Ahhh...I was about 17-ish when I was in Edmonton and never experienced anything like that.

You get it everywhere man...ya just hope that you don't get it often.
