Pascal is going to get put to sleep. He's a half ass fighter, with a suspect chin. That is all.

I could say the same for Froch. He has proven nothing, blablabla.
I won't. He's a pro fighter, he has given a lot of his life for boxing and I respect him for that, as I am a boxing fan.

If Froch beat a half ass boxer, we won't know much of him. Is he a 4/7 ass boxer, a 3/4 ass boxer?

I am a boxing fan too, otherwise I wouldn't be on this site. However, that doesn't mean I can't be critical of a fighter.

I get into the habit of condemning fighters for one bad performance as people tend to do. When Pascal fought Pittman I was very disappointed with him cuz I wanted to see why so many people were billing him as being a quality fighter only to see him struggle. That being said, this is a new day and a new fight. We'll see how Pascal does. Froch is a good fighter so he's gonna have his hands full no matter what. Here's hoping for a good fight.

I've seen ALL 21 of Jean Pascal pro fight. He look good in is first 12 pro fight, than he fought Darnell Boones on FNF the night Alcine gave the best performance of is career against Javier Mamami. Pascal look very average in that fight, Boones is tough but Pascal did nothing. The fight after he batter Lucas Green Arias for 6 rounds, a very average fighter who threw almost no punch for 6 rounds. Than he fought Jemain Mackey, a tall fighter who look more a dancer than a boxer. Than it was Lafarrell Bunting turn and again he was a punching bag for 12 rounds but Pascal doesnt have much power, he throw too much with is arms instead of technique, he doesnt have good stamina, he cant fight 12 rounds with a good rythm so Froch will test him in a way nobody ever does. Than it was Christobal Cruz who was SHOT, I cant believe Pascal fought him 1 year before a title shot. Than he fought Ikeke who won 3 or 4 rounds, Pascal could not KO or UD him 120-108, disaster. Than he body shot Camou, another bum. Than he look HORRIBLE against Brian Norman and the fight after vs Pittman on the undercard of Miranda vs Banks he look horrible again getting hurt by a guys with zero power.

Froch on they other hand have POWER, he destroy everybody he faced but he fought bad opposition like Pascal, so in a way they both are still untested prospect.

Jean Pascal had injured problem in the past + suspect chin + suspect power + way overconfident.

Carl Froch have a good chin + good power + not the best stamina but better than Pascal + also way overconfident.

On paper skill wise, it's a pick em fight, but from what they show in the ring, it's a no brainer, Froch will KO Pascal and fast, id be surprised if it goes past 6 rounds. I suspect Pascal to get injured in the fight near the 3 rounds and if that happens he cant compete with Froch.

And that coming from a guys who have seen every 21 of Pascal fight + Froch 7 of is last 10 fights.

You can bet your house on Froch, he is WAY too intense for Pascal.

Froch has been a very avoided fighter his whole career and this is his chance to take a step up the ladder. I expect Froch to win via a late round stoppage. It is interesting to hear the Canadian take on Pascal.

Pascal fought Christian Cruz because the guy he was suppose to fight (Rubin Williams) pulled out at the last minute.

Froch has only been avoided by Calzaghe, for the last couple of months, if that counts, and possibly, by Inkin. Froch has avoided Bute and every other serious challenger out there for a long time, in fact.

This fight will tell a lot about both guys, but, at the end, Pascal should be down for the count, since Froch have way more power than the Pitman's of the world. Pascal seems to live in a tv show, always running his mouth instead of perfecting his trade. If he is half as good as he think he is, he could give Froch some opposition. I would rather say that if he's clean from his chronic shoulder injury, if the special trainning camp held in Pheonix- AZ brought him to his best level ever and if he can stay focus and box from the outside, maybe then, he could be trouble for Froch.

But, there are too many if for me to put any money on Pascal. I don't think he's worthy of a championship fight, he's nowhere near the likes of the top 5 SMW, and it's almost a shame that he might wear JC's ex belt.

I don't know Froch that much but, from what I know, he's closer to the best than Pascal and hits very hard. So, if Froch acts like a pro and put pressure on that fragile chin, it should take about 5 or 6 rounds to crown a new WBC Champ from Whales.

Don't get me wrong, I would like another local champion that could lead us to a unification with Bute.
    But, it's very unlikely.:deal

froch hits way to hard for pascals chin to handle froch has speed which eople dnt realise he does fast pot shots from weird angles at times so pascals more a combo guy but he sings away froch coms through the middle more with straight rights and uppercuts an tantalising jabs

pascals bin shook up a few times froch has never even blinked from a shot and ive seen him take bombs from naturaly bigger and heavir meneven if there not his class there record shows if anything they can dig

i expect froch to take pascal out in about round 10 dropping him a couple of times along the way to the stoppage

has no 1 seen wat happened last time froch fought a canadian
jean pascals homeboy countrymen in mark woolnough

u canadians and americans know him
well froch stopped him in 11th in there commonwealth title fight bk in 2004 wen mark was canadian champ at the time and is the 1st man to beat him an only to have stopped him as otis grant beat him on points after so he's only bin beaten twice overall and last time ount few months back mark beat johnathan reid so hes had a good win streak unbeaten in 4 years but he'l always remember the battering froch put on him sum 1 try and get woolnough's prediction on this fight. do any canadian or americans know him personally.

also did anybody c when froch came america an boxed on a goldon bo promotions show an stoped enry porras in 8 brutalising him in the last 2 sessions b4 the stoppage.

pascal cant and wont handle the power the angles the movement the reach deficit and will be demoralised when froch takes his shots easy like joe took roys after round 1 as froch never gets hurt but he crumbles ppl pascals best hope is to go on the run but even then froch is gud at stalking with his wide back like a cobra snake and 6ft 1ins height frame an 79ins reach. an cutting off corners so not even that will work plus froch gets powerful an more energetic as fights go further he can get rid of u from rounds 1 through to 11 ive noticed so far ask woolnough or brian magee about froch's power late and weve al seen his early rounds 1-3 endings and he likes he mid rounds aswel from rounds 5-8 mostly his endings happen so froch's stamina is very good an underrated by ppl who have not studied him fully. hope theres a good analisis as to why froch will win now somebody give an analisys like the thread starter asked as to why pascal will beat the cobra froch! :bbb

I agree with many of your points but "Mark ****ing Woolnough" ? You must be kidding. That guy skill wise is in-between a bum and journeyman level. Beating him does not mean a thing. Just forget about him and never mention his name again while trying to hype Froch.
