Zero reason for tabulating scorecards to be dragging out this long.

Devignaud and Girardin are like "come on, get on with it, we have showers to go take".

Missed the KD and I doubt they'll replay it. Of the flash/glove touch variety, or was it a legit, heavy fall?

The journeymen in France and Germany are so much more helpless than the UK lol. God bless them for their heart but they almost always have that 1950s stance you’re talking about, and get the **** pounded out of them for the 4 to 8 rounds they’re scheduled to fight.

Light one, mostly accumulation, he was clear-headed when he got up. Devignaud sort of kneaded him onto the canvas like a disc of pizza dough.

Well, that's why European prospects often have Nigerian opponents and the like imported for them. At least the boxing programs in most African emphasize impenetrable high guards, so they're usually able to go rounds without shipping as much damage as the lower-tier Euros.

The blonde that handed Maxime a trophy is delectable.

French girls are something else. I had a f-buddy years ago, both parents were French, her bosom was like a pair of NBA regulation size basketballs (except made of silk, filled with down feathers). Ughhhh, to be young again..

Is Putkonen wearing a tucked in polo tank top to the ring? He’s officially my hero

    Merci!

59-54 is wild though. I can't see finding a single round to give 10-10, let alone for Girardin.

    Yes.

So I'm officially happy no matter the outcome in this one. Putkonen has my rooting interest for the aforementioned fashion sense alone (plus I have a soft spot for Finns, most of my favorite bands from my metalhead days were from there) ...but on the other hand, if Amghar wins it makes my boy Garrido's stock go up. So **** it let's rumble!!!

Huge pop in the crowd for Amghar, brought a sizable contingent (of the small fraction of the venue that's filled in already) and sold his fair share of tickets I guess.

    Round 1

Putkonen is covering up, letting Amghar peck at his ulnas with jabs, then bowing forward to lob a couple of straight body shots when Amghar pulls out. Putkonen is consistently touching Amghar just above the belt line with light double jabs, but is getting caught with jabs and 1-2s between the eyes on the way in & out. Settling into a nip & tuck pattern, each taking a turn initiating offense. Work rates evening out in the long run. Amghar landing a bit cleaner.

    10-9 Amghar

    Round 2

Pace is picking up as they circle more rapidly and throw in simultaneous combos (for the most part colliding & deflecting each other's fists), a couple of whirling dervishes in the middle of the ring. A chant of "YAZID!" is building in the increasingly filled-out crowd. Every time he throws a wild errant uppercut they're cheering loudly as if he just scored a knockout, overreacting to his every move. He is outworking Putkonen, however, slightly.

    10-9 Amghar

    20-18 Amghar
