Inoue still presses the action but Munguía is now landing the heavier shots. Inoue too horny to land that big right hand, needs to settle down, falling in with big misses and getting strapped with counter hooks turning his neck around sharply. The right hand keeps shooting out past Munguía's neck, leading to clinches or quick shoves out to hooking range, all to Munguía's advantage. Inoue keeps walking him down, pushing out jabs and setting up overhand rights, but Munguía is banging him up even on the backfoot now.

Round 6

Munguía is getting plonked with the odd right hand on the nose, but is largely benefiting from the dumb luck and overanxious disposition conspiring to make ninety percent of Inoue's power shots turn out "close but no cigar". Right hands past the neck, and left hooks just whizzing a half inch from Munguía's chin. Munguía is meanwhile clanging the sides of Inoue's head with hooks while shuffling in reverse and then leaning back to sag into the ropes for extra buoyancy when need be.
