They are very bitter. But they better be careful not to burn bridges if they want a shot at a rematch.

Like those bridges they burned by calling Canelo a nasty cheat and disgrace? Yeah... they had to beg for the rematch to be made and it cost them % of the income too.... oh wait...

once a cheater always a cheater. I know I won't be ever paying a dime to Oscar or canelo for any future fights.

Well, lets dissect what Tom is saying. He's saying a week after the fight VADA scheduled a test then cancelled it after Tom "made sure" Canelo was going to be tested. This isn't the "after fight" test that occurs that shows if you were on anything during the fight. This is another test that Tom claims VADA scheduled a week later.

VADA reserves the right to randomly test fighters that are enrolled in their program. As long as both fighterd were tested after the fight (like the night of the fight or the next day) and they both pass the test, then we know that both fighters were clean for the fight.

So whether or not VADA does another test a week later isn't as important as the tests right after the fight. Of course I want to see both fighters to be tested equally and fairly. You can't blame the fighters for how often VADA tests them. If Canelo had returned to Mexico the week after the fight, then it's up to VADA to test them if both are being tested equally on the same days. We know before the rematch VADA went down to Mexico (supposedly on advice from Team GGG) to surprise him with a test before he was even in training camp which led to the clenbuterol situation.

But as far as testing after the fight, I just want to see VADA do their job, which is to test each fighter after the fight to make sure each fighter was clean during the fight. If both fighters pass that test, then I don't see a need for another test a week later. But that's not my call, and we don't know anything other than that.

Guys I tried to tell you many moons ago that the sport of boxing is TOTALLY CORRUPT!!! I was scoffed at by many BUT Now most are beginning to see I was right
The corruption starts at the top with the State Commissions They make, break & change the rules as they please to protect their cash cows
Innocent fighters get their good names & careers ruined while the cheaters are allowed tp flourish
Ive spent close to 40 years in & around the sport I Love & never thought Id see it sink so low
How I see it is ....
Let those bogus champions holding gelts they STOLE from the real champs. I know who the REAL champions of the sport are They are the ones I respect
Any person that supports a CHEAT is NOT a Boxing fan

Exactly. Imagine what it would be without the PEDS.

Just kidding, but.... 'he doesnt look like hes on PEDS' is a historically horrible method for suspecting who is on peds or not. There are endless examples of people whose speed, power, stamina, ect, were not exceptional, but who were roided.

Monzon after the Napoles fight refused to take a urine test. One of the reasons that the WBC, who had stripped him of the Title for fighting Napoles (and not Rodrigo Valdes), kept him away from Valdes and their title for 2-1/2 years.
