On the slim chance he loses, have you got yours ready?

Canelo was the -420 favorite. This was no upset.

By the way, Floyd was -300 vs Canelo.

Nobody's denying Canelo has work to do before he's ready to face the best at 175, because Kovalev was over the hill, What you guys have mixed up is you probably think i totally disagree with the post. I dont. What i disagree with is the people that criticized others for thinking Canelo would beat him but when Canelo DID beat him they make every excuse under the sun.

Its the same thing they did with Fury.

    "Fury cant win"

    *Fury wins*

    "Oh well, Klitschko was old"

Yeah Klitschko was past it but where was that energy at before ????

And some judges have their scorecard filled out with a Canelo landslide win.

It's part of your imagination, judges pay attention to the action and score based on who they think performed better in a round. For you to become so convinced of a pre-determined plot, you lose sight of what is going on in front of you and more importantly what happened that resulted in judges scores.

Boxing is the most corrupt sport going

I love it but dont kid yourself

Your favourite fighter benefits from such things

Can you run through how the 118-110 was plausible again, please?

I could do with a laugh.

Is it really? Corruption does exist in boxing, but compared to the magnitude of corruption in Olympic selection committees and FIFA makes any boxing related corruption look penny ante.

We disagree. It is the least corrupt sport. And by that I don't mean that like there isn't funny buisness that goes on. Of course there's some corruption in boxing but the sport hasn't been destroyed and turned into a complete joke like other sports have like the NFL or baseball or practically any sport besides boxing at this point. When you look around to other sports presently, most sports become a total circus in recent years. Boxing with all its faults still has stayed true to itself, other sports have not and are truly lost at this point. Boxing is pretty much the only sport that I can still take serously at this stage which is why it's so important to talk about.

Many fans on here continue to live in a state of delusion as it pertains to Canelo and how to score his matches. They're not open minded enough to view rounds that can be interpreted in a multitude of ways and just end up having like a tunnel vision to when it comes to how to score rounds and expect judges to have the same tunnel vision they have. Judging is openly subjective and you're always going to have a range of scores that many who are passionate will disagree with. That's what makes boxing different than other sports. Winning and losing is far more subjective and open to interpretation than other sports, but many fans can't seem to cope with this and jump to all kinds of conclusions when judges don't see it their way.

I don't have to defend a judge's score to know how it came to be. It came to be because GGG wasn't winning rounds clearly, was getting lit up by flashy power shots, was missing punches, was being outclassed, outboxed etc. The other 2 judges gave GGG a lot of close rounds for coming forward and throwing more punches. Byrd did not and rewarded the fighter who was landing the better punches but in many rounds throwing less. Classic quantity vs quality. The correct score was somewhere in the middle of the judges extremes.

It came to be via a fat brown envelope.
