Probably Saturday the 13th. It’s the weekend closest to the 16th which I think is Mexican Independence Day.
Could probably book a hotel cheap if you booked now.

I'm taking Crawford, would be a nice legacy win for him as well, exactly what he needs. If Madrimov goes to have a decent career, Spence (yes past it but still) and Canelo ain't a bad way to end your career.

Yeah, no. It’s not height division or reach division, I don’t think I need to bring up hundreds of WWs, jr WWs or MWs who are/were taller with longer reach than Tyson, Fraizer and plenty other HWs.

Aside from “he said she said”, the fact is that Crawford came in the ring at 169lbs in his last fight which is pretty average for a jr MW meanwhile Canelo not only contended at LHW but entertained the idea of fighting at cruiserweight a couple of years ago.

There will by all accounts be a massive size difference here.

The size difference between their balls is important.

If Crawford takes this? I have to put him number 1 of the era

He's the underdog, going against a future HOF amd outside this forum, a potential ATG

I don't think he wins, but if he does? He's the best since mayweather/pacquiao

Yea, I really want to see this fight for the IQ chess match. Crawford leans heavy on IQ and timing more than speed and power. Canelo with a decent IQ himself has shown himself to be vulnerable vs a fighters who step in with an IQ that makes him have to adjust his original plan. Like Mayweather and Lara.

I've been aware of him for a long time but I don't think I've seen him fight more than once or twice. He looked pretty good from what I remember though.

 OK. I remember the fishing attire

Yeah, he is about 170 on fight night at 154. He weighed 169.8 and that was his first fight at the weight. GGG's average fight night weight is a very consistent 170.

Crawford is a big guy and all this talk about there being a massive weight difference between them is pure fiction. Clenelo comes in at 178-180 so even if Crawford only comes in at 170 on the night at 168 which he surely won't because he still looks very lean at 170 the difference will be 8-10lbs max and Crawford has a much longer reach. I expect Crawford to be about 175

That’s it, some guys most valuable skill today is being able to boil out 20-25lbs against guys on short notice who come in at or around the weight… because A they don’t have the means or B the genes to get down, some guys really can’t drop the water, careers have been ended early on for talented guys because they can’t go through the process otherwise it’s in with guys 15-20lbs on them consistently…**** weight classes today honestly.

I think we’ll see Canelo try to just monster Bud if he gets ahead, we don’t see him get down and dog somebody much even if he’s behind but if it’s a former “Welterweight” he might feel inclined to make a point, I’m not sure, I agree though the chess match will be fun but I can see losing trying to just take Bud out and realising he’s a little bigger and a little more durable then he thought.

    Yea, he's decent. I wouldn't say he's great but a decent opponent.

Yea, the fishing attire was epic. His last fight he designed shorts that made it look like he was "saggin" via the Tupac image when he spit at the camera back in the 90s....lol.

When he hangs up the gloves, he should definitely open a shop strictly for fighters who are looking for a look to catch the audience upon the ring walk. I know Wilder could have used his services for the first rematch vs Fury with that crazy outfit he wore that he claimed was too heavy.....lol.

Let's not forget, he fought Amir Khan....a former lightweight/light welterweight/welterweight just like Crawford. He arguably was down vs Khan. I don't remember seeing the scorecards, but Canelo clearly wasn't in control for the first 4 rounds of that fight from what I saw.

If Khan was able to find success vs Canelo for 3 or 4 rounds......I think Crawford can definitely give him hell for 12. Crawford is light years better than Khan.

A boring decision to Canelo by not getting KOed. These guys are both hype jobs. Fan insecurity to keep it interesting.

"My man fought and beat the best like......that....good guy Amir Khan who Olympicked some medal right?"
