Why not? He does not have mediocre footwork by the way. That’s a fallacy

Canelo based on talent level and actual achievements is clear p4p#1. When Loma/Bud have a win anywhere near as good as Jacobs or Golovkin then we can include them in the conversation.

Get over what? I'm not a Lara fan, I just score the fight for him. Plus with the GGG fight, most boxing legends and coaches had him winning. You can always find people who go against the majority. I know people who thought Holyfield beat Lewis. The thing is a P4P #1 fighter doesn't go life and death with Trout. Is Canelo top 10? Yes. Top 5, maybe. But he's not #1.

I had Canelo losing all three of those fights.
But he got the decisions. I just don't see he as number 1.

A "win"? Loma has a clear cut victory over
Rigo. I take a clear victory of a questionable one.

Apparently you didn't see the first GGG fight. Canelo displayed top level footwork in his outboxing of GGG.

He didn't go life and death with Trout. He knocked him down and clearly won that match.

Yeah Alvarez displayed elite level footwork in that fight... One can only wonder why he felt the need to get roided out of his eyeballs before the rematch.

Between 2013 and this year, it can be argued that Canelo should have 5 losses. He is a high level boxer, his p4p run is very subjective and he is most assuredly not number 1.

Let’s s be honest, a win over an old Rigo dragged up two divisions doesn’t mean anything.

Going off their respective performances I’m not sure how you can rank Loma above. Canelo gave up as much size against Jacobs as Loma did against Linares, and performed better despite Jacobs being a superior opponent.

No respectable person would have Canelo at #1.

Not even Kitchen Utensils' own Ring magazine have their cash cow at #1. Guess who is number 1? Lomachenko.

losing twice to GGG and being number 1 ???? doesn,t make any sense to me
Real number 1 is Loma ( GGG and Usyk just behind )
