My goodness!! I know he should be a favorite but geez -1200. to put in context. Mayweather was -275 against him, pac was -600 against Rios. I mean these are crazy odds, probably have a slight bet on Angulo just in case. Angulo +700 so $20 on him to win $140 isnt bad, I cant bet Canelo, make no money at all

-1200 is a little wider than I'd set it, but that number accurately reflects Angulo's chances. He's never KO'd a top 10 juniormiddleweight and he has no chance of winning a decision against a fighter who the promoter is so heavily invested in.

Well. I don't give Angulo a chance so the odds are about right.

Imagine what Angulo KO odds will be which is the only way he can win

Id put 20 on it just to make the fight more exciting

Angulo doesn't have a chance anyway. Sure he might hurt and trouble Alvarez but don't expect him to follow up.

Perro is tailor made for Alvarez. Canelo fights similarly to Floyd, he relies on head movement and loves to counterpunch. He also has exceptional handspeed, good combination punching an is a very good body puncher as well.

I do agree though that this line is a bit absurd. I used to bet on boxing years ago, I would imagine the opening line for this bout would be something like -450 for canelo. he looked awful against FLoyd and there might be some residual effect from that fight mentally. You never know how a fighter is going to fare in their next fight after losing their first pro fight, especially as one-sided as Canelo lost to FLoyd.

But Angulo is tailor made for him and it should be an easy night of work for Alvarez as long as he doesn't stay in the pocket for too long and try to go toe to toe with this guy.

Im thinking 15-1 or 20-1! That is the only way he can win so good post bro, I think $20 to win $400 would be nice to have in my pocket in case it goes down!!

I had a side ticket with Maidana by KO, that 2nd round had me going wild!! hahaha but no cigar, still made it more exciting

If you like underdog lines, there are worse longshot bets to be made than tossing $20 on Angulo by knockout.

Not that I rate that possible outcome too highly, but hey- it's a longshot bet for a reason.

Canelo should win the fight fairly easily he has all the tools to beat Angulo. I see why he's the favorite here.

There a couple of issues there:

    1. canelo has never faced a legit, hard punching Super welter
    2. His stamina and work rate are pathetic, hard to stave off a hard charging Angulo like that. His chin is a question mark, and he's a plodder

nelos, chin and stamina are 10x superior to angulo. nevermind the speed and power advantage ring IQ defense.

i think 1200 is too generous for angulo, only true shot he has is nelo getting seriously injured or having a heart attack/stroke type medical in the ring

What makes you say this? He throws 40 punches a round and still gasses. Its not even close stamina/output wise, and I suspect Angulo has a much better chin but insufficient evidence
