Gasnelo got his fraudulent WBC We Be Chicano belt from a bloated 147 matthew hatton to fight him at 154lb for a vacant belt. Pathetic

Then he fights Austin Trout in a tough close fight and wins another belt. In the past he fought contender bum fighters like Alfonzo Gomez and then ask a small 140lb Josesito Lopez to come up to 154lbs and then he gets totally outclassed by Floyd Mayweather.

And that's the story of Canelo's boxing career.

Can you refute it?? It's irrefutable and they are facts.

He legitimized himself when he beat Trout

He has done nothing to make him considered an elite boxer. The only semi-legit guy he beat was Trout - and he struggled badly.

    old Mosley doesnt count

I think he's somewhere in between those choices you mentioned. I think we will get a lot more clarity as to what he's all about after the perro fight

A hypejob carefully manufactured by Golden Boy because of his marketing appeal, Mexican descent, and unique appearance

I believe canelo is a fraud.he barely beat trout and that's with the judges on his side and how good is trout really after lara dominated him.I know lara is the best at 154 and now canelo is fighting angulo who lara just knocked out.canelo needs to fight lara win or lose I would give canelo credit just for getting in the ring with lara who is the most avoided man in boxing.

He's only 23, and appears to have great application to the sport. He still has a long way to go, but I reckon we'll be seeing lots of him in big fights over the next decade.

I don't think he's a fraud...i wouldn't classify him as a top elite boxer at this point. He is still very young and has a lot to learn however if things go smoothly i can see him become a very tough opponent in your future.

    Now for some perspective.

He's proven more than your hero had at that stage of his career:deal
