Canelo Alvarez a real champ or a carried pretender looking through smoke mirrors.

so funny how the casual fan is so eaily swayed by complete fools just spewing nonsense.
i gaurantee if there was a power poll for Canelo and Maidana
100% of sane people without agendas would pick Canelo.

ONLY people who would pick maidana is people with their children like agendas and
they cant be honest with themselves never mind then trying to be honest with other
    forum posters.

Lara is NO way the best at 154, Canelo will prove to be the best at 154 still despite losing to TBE.
watch nelo utter destroy angulo. the same angulo who was taking it to lara and taking it to him bad.
yes lara was able to save himself and get the W BUT NO way can someone be the best in their division
if the struggled mightily going against an angulo who had major career and personal issues the previous
2 years. come on now. and Canelo did NOT barely beat trout, Canelo was really the only one landing
    anything.

some of you truly are so lost on whats going on in the ring you think canelo was having
a rough go of and was tiring.. LMFAO fellas, get a CLUE. for real. it was open scoring and 4/0 after 4 then
something like 7/1 or close to that after 8. canelo already had the fight won so he was being careful. i truly did
NOT see more than a couple true effective clean shots from trout, it was literally under 20 the whole fight.
not talking jabs because he landed some jabs but effective power shots which was exactly what trout needed
to land the whole fight hardly landed anyhting. Nelo landed about 90% (at least) of all the clean effective power
punches the whole fight. and the judges had him so far ahead trout needed a bunch of knock downs and really
a TKO/KO to get a win so nelo just coasted to a easy easy UD.

if the fight was close on the cards after 8 you woul have seen a much much different nelo the last 4 rounds.
he would have attacked like he was in the 1st four rounds. some of you guys are so lost and confused you were thinking
or even still think (knockle heads) that Nelo was tiring and just looking to survive. LMFAO he won the fight so easy and
he did NOT let trout do ANYTHING the whole fight. in round 7 nelo tried for the stoppage but didnt well, couldnt
get it that round then after the 8th the scores proved he had the fight won as long as he didnt get a bunch of points deducted,
stayed on his feet and didnt get tko'd. trout doesnt have the power to really hurt nelo but nelo still played it safe and
coasted. i think the cards should have been a little closer after 8 but w/e. trout couldnt do shat againt nelo. and nelo
did pretty much what ever he wanted

Now for some real perspective, juantard

Pacquiao by age 23 was already getting his second major boxing world title beating Ledwaba :deal
He's proven way more than your hero had at that stage of his career

He had also been KTFO 2x, had a draw and a very iffy win against Hussein.

Based on ******* logic, that would have made your God a fraud:deal

His only loss is to an ATGĀ….:patsch

The kid is young and is one of the best young fighters in the sport IMO. He has a lot to learn still but he's skilled from what I can see, remember he had no amateur career and he can only get better. He is going to thrash Angulo.

god the paq ladyboys are going to hate this fact..
by this age paq was proving fast he was truly a title holder at best with a weak
weak ass chin. chin isnt as bad as he was provin back then but too weak for sure.

those 2 KO's were his fault for looking for extra advantages. the dude was cutting weight like
a crazy person the re-hydrating to come in 3/4 weight classes above his opponents then when he
was stuck fighting a couple top ish fighters in those divisions he was put to sleep, nite nite.

some paq fans are so delusional they actually deny he was brutally ko'd back then by real punches.
they try to claim he was hit low and was put to sleep by a low body shot.. LMFAO
his chin was clipped, yes 1 of the KO's looked real bad like he was HARDLY clipped. he was making
Kahn look to have the greatest chin in history..

denial is one hell of a drug. by 23 paq was a walking piece of glass, draining himself to fight fighters that
could literally pass as 8/10 year old. while at 23 nelo lost his first fight to TBE and unchallenged for the best
fighter of his era. even if you cant admit to him being the goat, you canNOT say is isnt far and away the
best of his era without a legit claim for any other name. NO ONE stands with him, he be all alone, yes
sometimes it gets lonely at the top. BUT w/e

at 23 Nelo is fighting the best opponents he can get to fight him and will be back way back on top without
a rival at 154 again. by the end of 2014 Nelo will be the true champ again at 154 with NO one that can claim
to be a close rival, by 2015 Nelo will be lurking around 160, looking for a champ to take the title from.
Nelo has gotten soo under rated since losing to floyd its INSANE. so what he lost to floyd, who the phuk hasnt
that had the cahones to step between the ropes with him, ahhhh NO ONE.

at 23 Nelo is tops in his division, at 23 paq was on the rebuilding stage for the 2nd time. looking for old washed up
fighters so he could put a couple wins together... NO COMPARISON between them at the ages. and Nelo is fighting
in his own weight class, he aint draining like paq trying to fight the smallest fighters possible. man facts KILL paq fans
    all day every day

Canelo is a well managed Micky Ward, unfortunately for his fans...Canelo already reached the highest he can reach on the P4P mythical list, so its very unlikely he will be able to "improve" as he is maxed out at 154...with no possibility to move down to 147, solid but slow twitch at 154

Also having millions in his bank account will help him live an easier life, he is a good boy, done good for himself...nothing wrong with his career...lucky inspiring story :thumbsup

comparing 23 yr old pacquiao to 23 year old Canelo is like comparing 49 yr old hopkins with 49 yr old earnie shavers in 1995.

The win over Trout proved that he's a real champion.

He had no signature top notch win until he beat Trout, but the activity did elevate him to the top of the rankings, aided by a deep but shallow-at-the-top division where guys lost and fell off. And Trout was considered the other guy at the top of the division after his undefeated career through solid comp. and then the big W over Cotto. So, Alvarez started a lineal title, and won it, at JMW. Solid enough to say he wasn't a failed hype job even if he retires right this instant.
