OH LOOK! A Wardo who has been silent since Kovalev beat him up. Wake me up when you do not let petty partisan bigotry effect your judgement.

GGG better beat him up and stop him because Cucknelo is getting every close round or even rounds he is not necessarily competitve but manages to not get visibly bashed around.

    Welcome back as well!

i've never seen a Maidana fight.

is he really that dirty? Eg, if Salido is an eight, how would you rank Maidana?

This. Golovkin would have pounded that version of Chavez to a pulp. No way the mummy version of Chavez goes 12 with GGG.

    seems to be the case:

    Canelo's last three opponents:

    Amir Khan

    Liam Smith

    JCC Jr
    compared to the three prior:

    Laura

    Kirkland

    Cotto

but for a couple of exceptions, there's been a steady upward trend in the quality of opponents GGG has faced over the last seven years (since he's been based in the US under Sanchez).

anyone who's been following GGG over that period, will recall that for each new fight scheduled, the line is always the same "once GGG is gets in the ring with [next opponent], we'll finally learn whether GGG is worth the hype"

    eg, in sequence:

Martin Murray: 31 fights never been knocked out or even knocked down when he fought GGG

David Lemieux: (from Bleacher Report) "Golovkin hasn’t had a chance to face a real top-tier middleweight to prove he’s what everybody seems to think he is: the best 160-pound fighter on the planet. That ends on Saturday. If Golovkin is the real deal, he’ll come out on top against Lemieux in a firefight

Kell Brook: 35-0 when he faced the consensus seemed to be that GGG had never faced a fighter having the technique, speed, and reflexes of Kell Brook; and although you don't hear about it now, Brooks supporters as well as his trainers were reminding everyone that Brook was a naturally bigger figher who was boiling down to WW with some difficulty--in short, they said that GGG would not be fighting a smaller man (and they were right)

whether anyone thinks GGG's resume is full of cans, the consensus is that the quality of his opponents have steadily increased over time

The only way El Pollo can win the fight is by doing nothing but playing defense, be standing at the end of 12 rounds, and wait for his pimp's judges to give him an underserved decision, but doubt if El Pollo can last that long..............

Well let's see your long ass detailed rebuttal Mr. IKSAB. Wait, I'll save you the time, Mayweather beat Canelo, therefore anyone who ever shared the ring with TBE is invariably better than any robotic Eastern European Plodder with minimal skills right? Funny how the guy who calls himself IKSAB never seems to be able to process the skillset of someone who isn't American adequately.

Been a poster long before that.................I have been here since it was established and that was "before" 2004................the site crashed badly and the count started all over again. Why did El Pollo give up the WBC 160 lb. title rather than fight Golovkin who was his mandatory? Me thinks Golovkin will kicky El Pollo's arse...........
