Half dead shot to **** versions of. Other than Floyd who he lost to, Lara who's overrated and Trout. Who he barely beat or lost to, and should that count as much as GGG's total domination of equal to slightly lesser opponents.

A Floyd loss still adds to his experience level against better fighters than GGG has ever beat. That's why there's an argument that Canelo is more experienced against top notch fighters and I tend to agree with that notion. Canelo is better than ever imo and it would be foolish for anyone to overlook him in favor of a guy who's demolished c level fighters at best.

My friend Maidana has beaten more top level fighters than Geale,Murray,Ouna,Monroe,&Lemieux combined, him arguably drawing with Mayweather in fight I is greater than anything GGG or any of his opponents have done in their careers former JWW&WW Champ.

That Kirkland fight was when I really started turning sour on Canelo's prospects as a fighter. The result of the match was a foregone conclusion, but what I was surprised to see was Canelo visibly gassing after 2 rounds. Kirkland even stole a round from him by via zombie brawler mode.

He's 24 years old; there's no reason why his conditioning should be this bad, which makes me think there's some credence to the reports that he doesn't train as seriously as he should.

What tells me most of all who would win between Canelo and Golovkin is the fact that they have sparred. Eyewitnesses have it that Canelo had a tough time. If Canelo thought he had a good chance of beating Golovkin, I don't believe he'd hesitate to say stuff it, let's do 160. I think that he knows damn well he's in for a beating and that's why he's waltzing around the weight issue.

Let's go a bit further: they have both improved since they sparred. But look at fights from the period from each boxer and look at their fights now. I think Golovkin has really come along under Sanchez and he's improved a great deal more.

In short: CST is right on this match. I think Canelo will be competitive for a few rounds, before he crumbles. And he will crumble.

Who? He's lost to everybody worth a damn he's got in the ring with. His best wins are Adrien Broner and Victor Ortiz.:patsch And the Morales fight was a gift it should have been a draw.

    :D Good post...

Maybe a bit flamboyant, but a lot of substance here.;)

    Bottom line...

:admin O$CAR is afraid that Canelo would lose to GGG... no doubt about that. O$CAR's trying to protect his "GOLDEN GOOSE".

:patsch Canelo may or may not be afraid of GGG... a couple of months ago, I would not have considered that a possibility, but given what's happened over the last two months, now you have to ask that the question.

IF Canelo didn't doubt being able to beat GGG... the "Catch Weight" issue wouldn't exist. Canelo & O$CAR are trying to "duck" GGG, and most people aren't buying these excuses.

Smart money says GGG whips Canelo easily...

    I think so to !

Who is Cortez looking at ringside before he starts the count? I saw him do the same thing before he started to count out Ortiz against Mayweather.

If Canelo was a MAN!! He'd come clean & admit he knows he cannot bear Golovkin & slink back a pound to 154 or better still prove to his own countrymen that he's not the chicken they labeled him & fight Golovkin @ 160. Even if Golovkin destroys him he'd garner far more respect than he has now
