Gabriel Martinez, Miguel Vazquez, Larry Mosley, Euri Gonzalez, Michel Rosales, Lanardo Tyner, Jose Cotto, and Luciano Cuello at the age of 19 (and destroying more than half of them) is pretty a pretty remarkable coup stick.

 

I hate to jump on bandwagons, but this kid is exciting. I'm paying attention to him closely from now on.

Though he's got big fight numbers, he's still young and still in development, and in the process of changing from Top Prospect to Contender. WOW! i looked for him in BoxRec and he's already rated #12!
This means the level of competition and how he's performed have been actually substantial.

I didnt know he took on that shortlist that IB posted on already. There's a good few B-class fighters in there. A sound victory and tko on a seasoned & game Jose Miguel Cotto (MAC's brother) isnt good enough? That dood was 31-1 w/ 23 KO's, and had a UD loss vs Juan Diaz back in 2006? Get real! So what if he hasnt gone against any declared superstars yet, that doesnt invalidate him.

heh, there's nothing wrong with that. His style is definitely a crowd-pleaser.... your fond of big punchers

Thing is, he uses real good punching technique and isnt too sloppy. He paces himself and attacks in spurts, minimizing counters and reserving his stamina. He's got alot of core strength to flurry & quickly recover from a 100% committed punches...

 

When I was his age I was working at a porn store 35 hours a week just starting to work out at a gym.

This kid was born in the nineties.... That's super impressive.
