Canelo is one of the best prospects over here in Mexico, the only problem is Televisa, this tv channel are giving him a lot of spotlight and this is not good for some younger guy like Canelo, during the fight they were talking like canelo was fightiikng someone like Mayweather or Pacquiao...

Freddy, they both are already way popular in mexico. Why wait? At this moment Chavez Jr vs Alvarez would already be huge in mexico.

Based on my expert analysis; Mexico is mxed of Arabs, mediteranean, whites and native Indians. :good I always knew that though based on looks they look like mixed of alot of race like the above etc.Could you confirm my suspicion. There doesn't seems to be many blacks there tho.

That's the main concern, the management needs to be smart not to push him too hard. Canelo's fighting a bit too often, quality is needed over quantity like 4 more fights in the next 12 months vs. tough, difficult opponents such as a slickster, a skilled counterpuncher, a strong aggressive puncher and a volume type of guy, and if there's an opening at one of the ABC belts, he should go for it.

Good news for Canelo is that his style is suited for long term unlike the all-out warrior mentality, he's calm, relaxed and smart in the ring, gets hit by a relative low % and showcases some nice boxing skills. That's why I think an old school trainer could bring him to another level. Nazim Richardson is great forging physical tools and sweet science together while Manny Steward is excellent at fine-tuning the textbook stuff and getting rid of defensive mistakes, and Alvarez has that Cottoesque style, so it couldn't go wrong.

Anyway, the expectations are sky high and he'll fight on both sides of the border, but I don't think he'll burn out too early.
