I mean the kid is an OK fighter yet Im reading threads Canelo vs Mosely Canelo vs Kahn?

Im most impressed that the kid can hit. Baldomir has a good chin still Baldi was a sacraficial lamb totaly shot to ribbons.

Alvarez has a shitty work rate and plodding footwork nothing spectacular there. I just dont see what the hell everyone else is seeing.

I guess its the Andy Lee effect or the novelty of a red headed Mexican. I am not that damn impressed.

You know who's impressive? Rigondeaux the Cuban, now that guy is the one who should be getting hyped no end. WTF?

I don't know, maybe the fact that he is the BEST ****ing 20 year old KID since Oscar De La Hoya came into the scene???

    TWENTY/VEINTE/ZWANZIG

He can only continue to develope.

    He is patient.
    He is powerful.
    He has excellent timing.
    He has good speed.
    He is strong.
He has skills and poise of a veteran.

And he is still growing and getting better!

The main problem I have is that from the ring entrance the only thing I see is redhead cash cow and Golden Boy is making it so obvious. The kid is 20 and he seems like a tool. The guy whispering in his ear at the end of the fight then him shouting Viva Mexico was puzzling. Let the kid some time to develop. The pressure seems kind of huge. He is definitely the quiet kind right? Then let him be that way. I loved the Tito came into the ring shouting "Viva Puerto Rico" with his big smile on. But that was Tito!
I think the pressure is on Golden Boy to see if they can take a prospect and lead him to big things the way Arum would do. Same for Ortiz.

He's the biggest 20 year old draw since DLH. This guy has the potential to be the next golden boy, just gotta match him up well and be patient.

dela hoya was far more talented at this age than Canelo. Amir Khan if not for his chin was also more talented

Keep his ass away from Kirkland, or his hype will end as fast as Ortiz.
