Sorry but I'd rather watch an exhibition of the sweet science then Gatti vs Ward any day of the week. But thats because im a true fan of the sport. Brawling is good from time to time, but at the end of the day boxing is about smarts, skill and intelligence.

I didn't read most of your post, because you think Tyson was a face first brawler, but Ali/Jones was too. Ali was an entertaining fighter, pre and post-prime. There's no shortage of good fights throughout his career.

The fighting desire of black Anericans has dropped tremendously in the past few decades, which is why there is no fighter outside of Mayweather who draws. Who is the second biggest black American draw?

And at the end of your post, you were talking about draws. America is no linger the centre of the boxing universe. It's an international sport, so you can't ignore numbers from the Klitschko's, Kessler, Khan or whoever. They may money and our money is worth more than the dollar. The American market is an afterthought for many fighters around the world because they make more money in their own country.

If thats true then why do all or most of European and latin fighters live and train here? Khan, Abraham, Froch, ect have all expressed their desire to fight in America. Martinez the middleweight champion lives and trains in America and has an American promoter. Gamboa, Caballero all live and train in America. Vitali Klitscko lives in America and is raising his kids as Americans.
