You don't have to unify. Just fight for the money, afterall Canelo is the cashcow, right? Look how fast the Trout/Cotto fight was made and they don't need a "special Holiday" to fight. Just ****ing fight someone on your own weight for once.

Canelo had better options but they chose a 140lbs'er :patsch Yes, definately a good win :verysad

If no Mayweather next for Canelo, I expect a Maidana/Canelo fight soon from GBP.

Canelo's defense is too poor to fight with elite 154 fighters.

No, Canelo has been lucky to find indecent opponents. He is ready for these guys. Now prove it.

He could have fought Cotto in December but he chose to only fight on September.

Instead he fights josesito (easiest fight in his career) at a weight he never fought at before.

It doesn't work that way. People expect the CHAMPION to put his belt on the line, ticket sales would suffer otherwise, not gonna happen. Sulaiman said he was going to strip Canelo had he fought Trout

Cintron was a more marketable name and Molina's octopus style is disgusting for mexican fans to see, he's also very hard to look good against.

Lol, Canelo IS going to fight in december 8th, and once again Cotto was his first choice for opponent, but guess what, Cotto turned him down AGAIN in order to fight for peanuts against Trout.

In short: Cotto is ducking Canelo

Unlucky is the bout with Williams falling through. What you just posted is a years long pattern of fighting lower weight guys. Big difference.

Im sure Martinez would love a chance to fight Canelo, they could fight at 154 and Canelo would be getting a shot at the middleweight champ and top 4 p4p fighter in the world. Not only that but its one hell of a fight.

    They should make the fight.
