I actually like Canelo's chances more against Lara than Cotto. Saul is sharper, faster and better conditioned. Lara has had some stamina issues and tends to get sloppy as the fight moves towards the middle rounds. Its def a great match up tho....Cmon fishnets make this happen!

The people that love boxing love this fight. He isn't going to get ppv buys from casual fans anyways. It's not like Ryan Rhodes, Kermit Cintron, Matthew Hatton are big money fights, but he fought them. Hell he fought Alfonso Gomez on last years Mexican Independence Day card, and he's a nobody. What I'm trying to get at is, out of those four fights MAYBE the Cintron fight possibly made more money than a Lara fight would generate. Cuban's and lovers of the Sweet Science would be all over this fight. If GBP put the promo work behind it, this could be one of the biggest and most lucrative fights of the Fall. Imo.

The sad thing about Canelo is GBP is still trying to find out how good he is. They should feel really bad that they have to do this with a world champion.
