Just because Lomachenko has freakishly short reach for 5’7 doesn’t mean he’s much smaller than those guys. I’m not sure Lomachenko has fought a person with shorter reach than him except the very short Gary Russell. Juan Francisco Estrada, and Carlos Cuadras at 115 & 5’4, 5’3 respectively, purportedly have longer reach than Lomachenko.

It’s definitely a physical disadvantage to be overcome. But is he much smaller? I’d say Lomachenko is 1 weightclass over his optimum weight at 135lbs. I’d say Canelo is 2 weightclasses over his optimum weight at 175.

I can hear the spirit of what he is saying, but
Canelo is starting to sound like Trump, Wilder or Adrien Broner.

except the loss, get better from it & move on.

I suspect Canelo walks around at over 190lbs so the idea that he's some tiny guy fighting behemoths is nonsense.. plus he takes copious amounts of roids & is always up four rounds before the first.. so he should wind his neck in with the im always at a disadvantage crap ..

Tyson Fury risked even more in the Fury Vs Wilder 1 fight, but it is possible that Canelo is right if Fury retired.

Its not just reach.. Loma probably hovers around 141lbs between fights.. whereas the majority of lightweights and super featherweights like Haney & Stevenson etc hydrate near 10lbs over night let alone their walk around weight which will be another 10lbs probably.. Davis, Lopez, Haney and Stevenson are much younger than Loma yet they have still struggled to make weight already numerous times.. that says a lot.. these guys already look like ****ing welterweights most of them, go look at images of them standing next to the likes of Crawford and Canelo.. even in 2020 Teofimo Lopez was 160lbs.. and still looked in fighting shape.. look it up.. truth of the matter is I bet he's closer to 170 most of the time… Just let that sink in for a minute considering the weight he fights at!

Him being the best in the sport is up for debate but the argument itself has nothing to do with it..

I repeat this is nonsense, canelo fought his first championship fight in his fight number 35 (vacant wbc vs mathew hatton), and loma in his fight number 2 ( wbo vs salido. You dont do that unless you have a godfather, btw, no matter your amateur pedigree). Canelo fought his first championship fight in 2011, and loma in 2014. Canelo was 21 y.o. and loma was 26

    canelo has fought 19 champions in 61-34=27 fights = 19/26 = 70%
    loma has fought 11 champions in 18-1=17 fights = 11/17 = 61%

Canelo has fought 19 champions since 2011. 19 champions in 11 years. 19/11 = 1.71 champions per year
Loma has fought 11 champions since 2014, 11 champions in 8 years. 1.3 champions per years.

    Your numbers are BS.

Or do you expect a 15 yo boy to become pro debuting vs world champions?

Nah, your numbers are BS, and anyone can see it. In this one we dont agree at all.

He has more losses he needs to except. He is so delusional he still thinks he beat Bivol. That's what happens to champs when you always fix their fights.

This explains why he lost because he has started believing in the press releases and headlines. He will lose again to the PBC guys.

You cannot elect to fight in a division then start complaining. Floyd Mayweather a featherweight/ Lightweight was not complaining when he fought and beat naturally bigger men at 147 and 154 pounds. Complaints and excuses are just that or daring to be great. Everyone gets credit for stepping into the ring but complaining about size, reach etc is BS. If you feel you are disadvantaged in a certain weight class then don’t fight there otherwise if you do no excuses are allowed. I don’t remember Pacquiao making excuses about moving up several weight divisions.

If he loses to them it would be because they are both on an equal playing field, they both start a boxing match with a 4 point lead.

 No your numbers are BS

I never said I expected him to fight for a world title at 15 y/o

The reason I start counting the number of world champions he's fought from the beginning of his career is because if I start counting from 2011 he's only fought 16 world champions not 19. He fought his first of those 19 world champions way back in 2006, and his second and third in 201o, so you have to start at the beginning if you're counting all the world champions he's fought otherwise it would be a lie to say he'd fought 19 since 2011 because it's simply not true.

And speaking of ''godfathers'' funny how Clenelo was paired up with Matthew Hatton to contest the vacant WBC light-middleweight title when Hatton was a career 147 pounder, the reigning European champion at 147, and his last three fights were for the European welterweight title, eh?

And in addition to Clen jacking himself full of PEDs to help him bridge the gap to campaign in the higher divisions he's also had the judges in his pocket all the time to magically transform his losses into wins or hand in crazy wide cards in his favour or crazy close ones in his favour after he got his ass whooped

Loma would 100% be undefeated if he had Clen's judges let alone if he jacked himself full of PEDs

And nobody in the history of the sport has fought 11 world champions and had 15 world title fights in their first 18 fights. This is completely unheard of

Joint fastest ever one-weight champ (should be the fastest)

    The fastest ever two-weight champ

And the fastest ever three-weight champ

    Number of world champions fought

And unlike a whole bunch on this list, almost all the world champions Loma's fought were world champions at the weights he fought them at and in their prime. Only 2 of them were champions at 126 and only 1 below that weight and one of the 2 world champions at 126 weighed 11 pounds more than him and the other had a whopping 7.5'' reach advantage over him

Five of them were champions at 135 and all way naturally bigger and heavier than him

    Clenelo 19 in 61 fights
    Loma 11 in 18 fights
    Inoue 9 in 22 fights
    Crawford 9 in 39 fights
Twink 7 in 26 fights << pure PBC smoke and mirrors
    Spence 7 in 28 fights
    GGG 7 in 43 fights
    Usyk 6 in 19 fights
    Taylor 5 in 19 fights
    AJ 5 in 26 fights
    Briedis 5 in 29 fights
    Jermello 4 in 37 fights
    Beterbiev 3 in 17 fights
    Bivol 3 in 20 fights
    Kambosos 3 in 20 fights
    Castano 3 in 20 fights
    Haney 3 in 27 fights
    Fury 3 in 31 fights
Joe Smith 3 in 31 fights
    Ugas 3 in 32 fights
    Jermallo 3 in 32 fights
    Wilder 3 in 44 fights
    Shakur 2 in 18 fights
    Makabu 2 in 31 fights
    Okolie 1 in 18 fights
    Goulamirian 0 in 26 fights
Boo Boo Andrade 0 in 31 fights

Nonito and Roman have fought a lot but I don't follow the leprechaun divisions and I can't be bothered to check all the wiki pages of their opponents to see how many. I would assume they both would be top 3
