    Canelo is a great boxer but not the best. I agree he picked the easiest champ at 154 but he did give him his first knockout loss and made him look like a nobody. That makes Canelo great but not the best. He is the best once he beats: Charlos, GGG, Sanders, Andrande. If he gets past a couple of those guys(not all). Then yes he is one of the best!

    You are getting there Canelo but you need to fight A class opponents not B class.

    BTW Canelos resume is extensive and very good :)

    Top 20, but he should settle for being the richest and most famous of this new era. His mentor Oscar De La Hoya was only the 8th or 9th best fighter of the 90s but he cleaned up and made millions because of that Mexican fanbase.

    Sergey Kovalev is the best fighter in the world. With Ward not too far behind.

    I gotta wonder how the **** someone like Canelo got as big as he did in popularity. I mean, he's not even the best Mexican fighter right now, let alone the best fighter in the world as he say is. If he was the best fighter in the world, wouldn't he be rated as the no.1 pound for pound player in the world? Not to mention, Mexicans love their Mexican warrior which Canelo is not.

    At the rate which its going, Canelo is following the Mayweather route more so than Cesar Chavez route.

    Canelo's skills have ben tested, and has the better resume. He may not be the most techically skilled, and he may not be the biggest puncher, but OVERALL he IS the best fighter today.

    Ward is probably the best. But, who knows, Canelo could be it. Using Floyd as any indication of Canelo's skill is not useful because Floyd is once in a lifetime talent and he just schools people. Also, his style matches up well with Canelo, who is a counter puncher, look at JMM, was made to look foolish too, another counter puncher.

    Do you know the saddest part?? Pollo really believes he is a fighter too. He must be even dumber than Juice Mayweather to let Old Fishnets totally destroy his reputation
    He is the laughing stock of boxing They have a pic on the wall here of a female reproductive organ wearing boxing gloves & has red hair. The guys that put it up were MEXICAN!!! That's what they think of him

    Gifts vs Lara and Trout. They tried to gift him vs Floyd,gave him a split decision Wtf was that about?
    He hasn't even been beating guys coming off big wins or streaks,he was just picking guys with names since Floyd. Except for Beefy,but that was a guy that had never stepped up before.
    So how does that make you the best, or even close to it?
